Not a bad bar although having a television over the cigarette machine and away from everything is perhaps the stupidest thing I have seen in a bar. The fireplace is nice and this bar was alot nicer looking than I expected from driving by many times. The service was good and this is a typical South suburban bar.
Review Source:It really is easy to miss. Â It is sandwiched between SW Highway and Fox's. Â So, eat at Fox's and hit this place to watch the game afterwards. Â I disagree with Dave. Â This bar would be classified as a dive bar. Â That is to say, it's dimly lit, people are dressed very very casually, they have very inexpensive beer options ($1 Bush Light cans) in addition to the traditional domestic options (Bud & Miller).
It also had darts and other games including an old-school bowling game with a metal disk that slides down a small lane to pop up pins, and a golf video game which I believe was Golden Tee. Â They also sold peanuts and gave away popcorn (but the popcorn in the machine looked a little stale by 10pm).
The night I went there was a mix of young and old (early 30's to late 50's) who were all friendly. Â I stayed there the whole first half of the Cowboy/Jets game chatting about fantasy football, which decade had the best music, and 9/11. Â I will definately be back.
