Ducked in here for a quick glass after dinner at Brew Co. Â I did the Cab flight and hubby did the Chardonnay flight. Â We were the only people in here, and took advantage of the comfy sofas. Â Found some great little gems in their collection, but my goodness this place is not cheap. Â For two flights (@ $15 each) plus one tasting of a sangiovese and one glass of chardonnay, plus two bottle of wine (1 @ $14 and one @ $18) our tab was around $90.00 Â $90.00!!! Â Are you freakin kidding me? Â
I might come here in the future to buy some bottles, but I doubt I'll ever do a tasting here again. Â I'd much rather go to Rick's Wine Cellar in Corte Madera.
After just having a horrible meal at the restaurant across the way, we decided to hopefully salvage the evening by coming here and having a glass of wine. I have to agree with some of the other reviewers, the layout and furniture set up is off and does not lend for a cozy atmosphere. We sat at the bar and felt very high up from the comfy cozy couch areas. The wine selection was not bad. But the smell of cigarette smoke wafting in from the open doors was UN-BEAR-A-BLE.
It was time to write this evening off and leave.
