  Kinda surprised the other reviews are so negative. I've been here a few times and I have found the service sufficient and we love the laid back atmosphere.

  co-owner is a short fat troll. f this place. bankrupt bars in Iowa City and counting: 808, Vitos, Jakes, Library Bar, The College Billiards and Union Bar are next.

  Absolutely horrible.  My cousin, friend, and wife all went in there with me after the game on Saturday and asked if we could order food.  Nope.  OK, then, we'll get a pitcher...nope.  I ordered a Grey Goose and Sugar Free Red Bull.  Got the drink and thought it tasted a little funny.  Turns out it was Roaring Lion instead of Red Bull.  Never heard of that before, but it must be some kind of cheap knock-off.  
  
  What's really bad is that their main TV is some big screen from 1985 and not even HD.  Really?  How expensive are LCD's these days?  $500 tops?  Come on.
  
  To top it all off, the waitress was so bad that she brought us the wrong tab.  
  
  Just a really bad experience.
