Frequented the one up north alot.

The chicken sandwiches are tasty, but the JD and Caribbean ones are a bit messy.

If you sign up for their (free) member card, not only do you rack up points, you show the card to get free chips and salsa at the beginning of your meal. The points in turn, can be "cashed" in for $ off coupons, and you also get email deals. That in itself is worth it.

I had just enjoyed an evening with old friends and by 11PM, I realized that I hadn't eaten. Where can you go for a meal late? TGI Fridays is right nearby! How convenient!

When I walked in I was greeted immediately by several sullen girls at the front. When I asked for a table, it was suggested that I could go to the bar. I walked around the bar and didn't see a table I liked, so I again went to the hostess and was reluctantly seated at a table.

I waited several minutes watching many a server pass by and move on. Finally a server came up and took my drink order and again waited and waited.

I finally got up and walked out. The hostesses didn't bother to ask why I was leaving. One guy wished me a nice day. I didn't bother to explain that up to that point I *had* a nice day.

Nobody working in this place looked like they were having a good time. They all had this far-away look in their eyes.

I drove north to another restaurant where they were happy to see me.

This corporate chain continues in the fine tradition of the dumbing down of the American palate presenting decidedly average food in an average atmosphere at average prices. And, of course, it's packed.
