It was 9:00pm Sunday night. Ordered two apps and two entrees. The apps fried green beans/beef queso. Fried green beans first then queso, we where completely finished with the first app by the time the second one arrived. Entrees was blk and blue burger/ff and chicken and shrimp sizzler. The burger was warm not hot, top bun crunchy and ff were horrendous. The sizzler was hot although it came with the smallest chicken breast I had ever seen and 6 shrimp for 13.00!! Portion size not expected for price! The service was okay at best. I think if our server wasn't the only server in bar area with 7+ tables, he would of been better. This is the second flop within 6months at this TGIF. Sorry we will not be back... Ever!!!
Review Source:Stayed in the hotel adjacent to this place--offered 15% off on meals.  We were tired after driving all day, it was convenient, etc.  the waitress seemed shocked that my wife and I wanted to split a entree  as we weren't  very hungry.  She took our order, brought our drinks and that was the last we saw of her until she brought the check--dropped it on the table without a word.  No checking on how the meal was or offering to refill our drinks.  She definitely did not want to be there!
Other place wasn't busy so it wasn't as if she was harried--just lazy.
That said, the food was pretty good. Â But the service sucked!
I am very disappointed with the service at this TGIF......Their service SUCK!!! Â I don't feel welcome here....TGIF is one of my favorite places to dine in.....because of this experience they have lose me as a customer......I WILL NEVER COME HERE TO EAT EVER AGAIN....THIS restaurant has no matter and rude!!!!.........for a matter of fact, SUBWAY has good customer service....
Review Source:We went at the peak of business and as a two top got sat in ten minutes. Super friendly host. Waitress was good but we hardly saw her. The food was tasty and hit the spot. Bar was quick too. All in all a typical chain restaurant but they handled their own during peak Saturday night. Would go again.

We stayed at the hotel next door. It was 11pm by the time we got to Rapid City and there were not many options to eat besides fast food. *I was actually surprised by the size of the town. I didn't expect it to be that big*
The lady who checked us in said the TGI Friday's next door is open. We looked at each other and the inaudible communication happened
Him: I will not tell anyone that we are going to TGIF if you don't
Me: I don't care as long as I get to eat. I'll bite your head off and chomp on it if I do not get any food within the next 10 minutes.
Him: Holy sh*t, we better hurry!
So, we went and got a booth. Our waitress was friendly and sorta funny. I was too tired after a 14 hour drive to follow her sarcastic humor but, my man thought she was being funny.
*You know what is NOT funny? Driving for 10 hours at a stretch, in the darkness of south Dakota, and dodging crazy pheasants and horny deer*
The drinks menu was impressive and the drinks were big. I mean, I got an entire shaker to myself for ordering just one drink. And it was pretty good. I was impressed.
We ordered the fried green beans for an appetizer. Too much breading and overly salty. Just OK.
All of a sudden, in my hunger rage, I realized I am fat and need to cut down on calories. *See people, this is what hypoglycemia does to your brain. It f*cks with your thinking*
So, I decided to get a chicken breast cooked in tequila lime sauce with veggies. The veggies were sorta dried out (because they were made early in the evening and it was almost 11:30pm?).
Overall, it was an OK dinner. I give it 3 stars because of the drinks and for the fact that the food is edible.
It did prevent me from biting my man's head off. Sanity regained!
