The food is amazing!  Celebrate my sisters 21st birthday here and they really went over and beyond to make sure we had a great time! The DJ on Saturday nights is awesome. This place is the best of both worlds, great food, drinks, service and space to dance.

Ambience: Amazing! It's a beautiful place.. just makes you feel sexy! But hopefully that's enough to "Do it" for you because the buck definitely stops there.

Drinks: Come on?! What are really here for??? *sigh* The drinks... oh the drinks. Let me just say I think it's awesome management hires their Bartenders FRESH out of Mixology Classes. I mean come on Bro.. how hard is it to make a Cosmo?? A Cosmo? Made popular by everyone's favorite posse ... unfortunately made gag-worthy twice by the fine Bar staff.

Food: Sub Par! Definitely a spin on your average "Bar food".. but let's call a Spade a Spade here.. BAR FOOD!!! Cold, no favor, everything has that "Fried" taste. The joke is definitely on you.. just because it's served on the cutest dishes found at your local IKEA doesn't quite balance out the terrible quality.

Staff/Service: Woohooo Just sad really and downright snobby.. I mean I know we're in Sandy Springs, but for a minute I thought I was in South Beach! The skinny is I was there recently with a rather large party (of course there was a reservation) .. we were all prepped to pay cash, have one tab for the ease of the Staff.. but wait? You need every individual's Credit Card before the they can order a water?!? Hmmm.. and then hold all cards Ransom ... I smell a rat! Either that or a large Identity Theft hub? I kid, I kid, I kid... but do I?!!!

Management/Owners/Pimps, Madams, etc.: Let's just say they're as friendly as the "Locals" in PACE Picante salsa commercial. Super rude, unaccommodating... possibly drunk?? Hmmm..  I mean really who tells paying customers .. "WE don't want you kind of people here!" Well clutch the pearls ... done and done!

Like I said, fabulous, beautiful space right out of MTVs Cribs European excursion Edition, yet all the wonder and magic was sucked out of the atmosphere once we got the FULL experience. Guess that's what happens when you put lipstick on a pig. Oink! Oink!

This is a silent killer date spot when you really wanted to make an impression.

My recommendation - Come for one of the 'event' days.... They have both a flavor tripping party and a grilled cheese smattering party.  You really NEED to try the flavor tripping.  I promise you that your date will tell all her friends and you will be locked in for round 2.

So what is flavor tripping?  There is a South African berry called a "miracle fruit" that turns everything that is sour into sweet.  Three Sheets has then prepared a series of snacks that will completely blow your mind.  You eat anything from straight lemons (which taste like lemonade) to a "guinness float" with sorbet in Guinness beer (This was my personal favorite).  You also eat cheeses and other things that make you want to gag thinking about but taste delicious after chewing this berry.

I would also NOT try flavor tripping at home.  Just go to three sheets - I tried it at home and it's just not the same.  Especially do not get the flavor tripping tablets which are supposed to have the same effect as the berry.  Things just don't taste as different as with the berry itself.  Just go to three sheets - trust me - even the wine tasted better.

I love the ambiance and there are no tables there are couches every where, Comfy cozy couples place. Great outdoor deck with lounge music; service was wonderful; the small plates are very good and the drinks are generous. The blackened chicken egg rolls are AMAZING :)

Great atmosphere! The decor is really nice and contemporary. The lighting is somewhat dark. The drinks were very good and around $10 for dirty martini's.

The DJ is good and they have a decent size dance floor. There is a lounge area that is far enough away from the dance floor that you can hold a conversation but the music is pretty loud so you can't hear much of anything anywhere else in the bar.

There is an upstairs patio that is very large but it was closed the night I was there. Smoking is allowed on the outdoor patio if you like that occasional cig with your drink.

Dress up a little for this place. Everyone looks good here.

I wouldn't bring a date here after nine but this is a great place for a date a little earlier on.

Loved the atmosphere, nice and dark.
Good place for some tapas and fruity cocktail.
    Blueberry martini was yummy.
Server was friendly but please tell them to watch their skirt when they bend over to serve food. It's not very appetizing to see butt cheeks while I'm eating my food, especially if you're on the chubby side. =)

Not a place to go for a date. Music is so loud that you can barely hear yourself talk.
Actually, it would be a good place for a date if your date is talking too much nonsense and u want to drown out his voice with music and just look at him and nod occasionally. lol

Looking forward to visiting this place again with my girlfriends for some fruity alcoholic beverages.

This is a very nice spot for the grown and sexy folks.  It has a very laid back atmosphere. If you want to impress somebody of the opposite sex, bring them here.

An outstanding venue to have a great time.  The service is very attentive.  The Mediterranean dishes are delicious and the drinks are generous.  Love the DJ's selection of music for dancing after 10:00 pm.  Outdoor seating and full bar upstairs during summer, spring and fall.

I wish my wife and I could go there more often.  Simply Brilliant!

This place gets 4-5 stars on atmosphere and decor.  The only thing I hate is the smoke!  I cannot enjoy my food or drink when all i can smell is cigarette or cigar smoke!  I'll go back in the summer when I can hang outside.

This was a hard review to write because I loved the atmosphere and the decor, but I did get sick later that night. I am not sure I can blame them for that. Keep reading and I will explain.

We came in the back way, so was a little underwhelmed, but as we walked around I found I really liked it. Like others have said, it is a great place for a date, very romantic. We only stuck our heads out and looked at the patio and did not go upstairs. The patio was very crowded that night, but looked promising.
My husband did not care much for the seating, he likes to get serious with his food! However, I think the menu reflects that-small plates etc.
One thing I did not like was the bathroom only had 2 stalls and you have to dodge the dance floor perimeter to get to it, but hey, it is a lounge!

The food: I have read the reviews here and also heard about the grilled cheese from a friend, so I was determined to have it. It took awhile to get situated and we learned that where you are located when you open up a tab is where you will eat. It is a bit of a hassle, but a credit card is required and I understand why. People do a good bit of mingling and walking around so it is hard to keep up with them. So, it was a bit difficult to track down someone to take an order, but we probably should have ordered right at 9pm when we arrived.
At any rate, I ordered the grilled cheese and my husband got the sliders. I am NOT a fan of tomato soup, but I did dip a corner of my sandwich into it once and it seemed to be tasty. My grilled cheese was hot and melty. It is smoked Gouda on sourdough bread. It is a LOT of cheese and a bit of fat dripped out of it. The reason I mention this is because they don't seem to give you napkins and I heard someone else remark upon this as well. Hmmmmm
I can't say it was fantastic, but it was good. I also had 2-3 bites of one of his sliders and I was not impressed. Dry, salty and over seasoned. There was promise there, but the beef was not allowed to shine. He did say that the first one he had was better.

Overall, I would keep in mind that it can be hit or miss and this place has lofty aspirations and kudos to them for offering something different.

The drinks were okay, but for the prices I thought they were a bit weak.

One last thing: I woke up at 5am with severe pain in the middle of my back and my stomach was in knots. I don't think the sourdough bread combined with that much cheese is good for me. I have been on a grain and carb free diet and my body simply rejected it. I felt bad all day and could barely eat. However, I WILL go back, but I will try something else.

What a gem! Beautiful & impressive.  Appetizers: chicken rolls, BBQ sliders and bread pudding were among the best in the ATL!  If you are look'n for a chic place for a business meeting, this is not it! This place has romantic, elegant decor...the kinda place for a date nite or your best friends.

Keep in mind the dining room consists of a bunch of couches so if you are there to eat, go for the outdoor patio...great service, it's upscale, heated, has a bar, a view of Sandy Springs and just has a cozy ambience.  The techno music has to go though! They should play mainstream music for sure!

Also, they say they open at 5pm but they were not even close to ready til about 5:30.  Gotta keep coming back here...we have to all work together to keep this place going!  Worth the drive!

So, me and my girlfriends wanted to try out this place for a drink after work. That was an EPIC FAIL. We went to the patio and sat at a table for 15 minutes and not one waitress stopped to take our order.  I made eye contact with at least two of them and nothing! I was beyond irritated and disappointed since I had such a great time on previous nights. I may come back for a night out, but never when I need actually service.

Several of my friends decided to have a combined birthday celebration at Three Sheets after dinner on a Friday evening.  We arrived after 11 pm, and I was pleased that we didn't have to pay a cover charge.

After the bouncer had checked our IDs, we immediately headed upstairs to the patio.  Although I liked the fact that they had this open area, I thought the area was rather small and crowded with a predominantly older (30+) crowd.

Somehow, we were able to nab a table in the patio as soon as we got there because a group was just leaving.  Initially, I was afraid that we wouldn't be allowed to sit at the table without a crazy minimum purchase or something, but my friends and I sat there for probably almost an hour, and no one seemed to have an issue with us just chillin' there.  Some of us ordered drinks at the bar and brought it over to the table, but not everyone ordered something.

It was well over an hour after arrival that I even realized that there was an indoor area downstairs.  For some reason, I had assumed that the indoor area was closed, but it was definitely open.

What I'm assuming are professional pictures of Three Sheets posted on Yelp make it look super swanky.  However, I could barely recognize the pictures as being the place I visited when I was there with my friends.  There's a small "dance floor"-like open area by the tables and chairs, and the music was decent, but I wasn't "wowed" by any means.

I had a Vodka Red Bull and some Jack and Coke, and I thought they were satisfactory.  My awesome friends bought them for me, so I'm not quite sure how much they cost.  However, I heard they're not cheap, so expect to shell out some cash if you plan to drink here.

Overall, Three Sheets gets 3 stars for being an "OK" lounge for hanging out, drinking, and dancing with friends.  I didn't get a chance to try any of their food, but I'm not sure if I will return to try some.  I just wasn't super excited about the venue, even though we were celebrating my friends' birthdays there.  Fortunately, my friends are good company, so we still had a great time regardless.  I'll return if my friends want to, but it isn't a place I would specifically choose.

I went to Three Sheets with a couple of girlfriends for drinks this past Friday. There is complimentary Valet parking, but I opted for the side parking which was free as well. No need to valet when I can self park.

What I liked about Three Sheets was that it was chic and had an upscale vibe to it. Absolutely perfect for groups, because there were plenty of tables for people to sit at. The outdoor patio was my favorite. Although the view wasn't spectacular or anything, the outside sitting was wonderful for that fresh air.

Speaking of fresh air, I was disappointed that they allow smoking on the premises. That's probably the only negative, but enough to knock off two stars.

I was here for a Jezebel event....wow, what can I say, this is a really swanky place! Definitely full of beautiful people, think grown and sexy from all walks of life.  I met a really awesome person here who indulged me with her travels to Dubai and zeal for life.  Love the food, love the spirits, love the crowd!

Sat nite was listed as Latin night here in Yelp events, so I decided this would be a good evening for my first visit, and it was. First the location and decor are really kool and funky:-)
There were just two of us this nite, and I observed most of the larger areas were reserved. I would recommend  having 4 or more guests would constitute a reservation.

We roamed a bit and peeked in some of the more tucked away spaces, all looked cozy under the kool dim lighting and candles. We noticed a couple of small tables with comfy chairs and took a seat. The waitress was very friendly and personable. She came over to greet us about 3 mins after we were seated:-), and offered menus. 5 mins later she was back taking our drink orders, I like that!

We ordered, Asian infused shrimp (spicy kick), scallops with grits and the chicken rolls. All were tasty, although I'm no fan of grits much. We also ordered 4 drinks, 1 scotch on the rocks, two vodka drinks and 1 martini. The drinks are about the same in price as most upper to mid-scale lounges and they weren't weak.
As we conversed I observed the crowd, and noted most dressed nicely, there was definitely diversity with races:-), but as the nite moved on the nice Latin flava music was replaced with Techno (which I hate). The diverse crowd changed over too...

I felt if you're gonna advertise Latin nite, the entire nite should be geared that way. We  had arrived right at 9pm and were out by 12:30. We did enjoy and will return. I would like to check the patio area when its warmer and is open, the valets were friendly too

This is specific to their grilled cheese sandwich.
    Phenominal - can't imagine better.
The cheese mix is sharp but not off-putting, the bread is buttery and crisp, the tasso ham is smoky, salty, heaven...

the space is very sexy.  the music is very sexy. the waitstaff is very sexy.   I've been early evening on weekdays and everyone was very attentive.

There's no beer on tap but the wine list is good with something for every price and pallet.

it's all about the atmosphere.  This is my go to romantic spot. It's incredibly sexy inside. I always describe it as Spain meets an Arabian night.

I've  always gone fairly early vs. when there is a DJ there spinning and big crowds. That sort of takes any romance out of a room. Early on you can curl up on sofas, big loveseats, benches, etc.  Share plates of tastiness and sip cocktails or champagne.  They have upstairs outdoor dining now but I haven't ventured out of the ambiance I love so much to check it out. Maybe when it's cooler out and I am with the girls.

Food:  The fries with three dipping sauces is fun.  Ketchup, sriracha aioli and chimmichurri  keep the fryrom getting boring and you're sure to finish every last one.

Grilled cheese and tomato bisque is a solid go to favorite. Well flavored and goes down easy.

Slider trio: grilled chicken , angus beef and bbq pulled pork is another tasty mix that keeps things interesting without being too filling.

Chocolate mousse cake -what else are lovers to share?  Side of bubbly and the night is ready to go to the next destinatination.  Food and wine are meant to pair so take advantage!

Valet in a strip shopping type location is insipid but it's there. Really your car gets moved 4 feet in front of you.

Assured this is a destination I will return to.

My friend and I visited Three Sheet after I won a Yelp gift certificate! We were super excited to visit. It has a dark, mysterious ambiance. It felt so refreshing in the A/C on that hot summer afternoon.

The food was absolutely delicious! We had the calamari, deviled eggs, flat bread, caprese salad, mac & cheese (just for starters!). Excellent job on the small plates menu. We both had dinner, I had the Scallops with Risotto, and my guest had the Lamb Lollipops. Needless to say we both cleaned our plates. I had the chocolate cake for dessert along with coffee (the tastiest coffee ever!) and my guest had the Maker's float.

The beer was cold and frosty - we both had Golden Monkey with our appetizers and then I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc with my scallops.  I wish I lived a little bit closer so I could come for happy hour! But I will definitely be back when I am in the area. I would even consider celebrating my birthday here.

The service was A+! Heather was awesome!

(Sandy Springs location) I found out about Three Sheets through Yelp, while looking for some place new to go. What a nice spot, easy to get too, complementary free Valet parking (still tipped $5 avg valet cost), great food, drinks and dj/music.

We were greeted by a doorman (nice touch) and the inside decor was really nice. At first one might probably think its small but they have multiple rooms and outside balcony seating. The pricing of drinks and food are really good. We had 4 drinks (two a piece she had wine, and I had cranberry and vodka) and shared the famous talked about grilled cheese sandwich (in which was really good). The bill around $39 with $5 tip, perfect start to the night before heading to our next destination.

Three Sheets is definitely a place i'll visit again.

Ok, I love the concept of the lounge and glad I didn't have to drive to midtown to pay for parking to enjoy the same experience.  But there were some things I didn't like:

    1.  The DJ.  She was not djing but was putting on one record after next.  I wanted to fist pump like Pauly but it was not happening.

    2.  There was a faint smell of smoke inside but when I left and got in the car I smelled like an ashtray.

    3.  The drinks are too damn high.

    4.  The food was hit and miss.  Enjoyed the scallops and grilled veggies, but the spinach flatbread, and humus was bland and the calamari was just alright.  But later that night I had the BG's.  Not good.

Overall I do want to try again, especially for the miracle fruit tripping experience.

A  dear friend/coworker was heading to NYC to get hitched in Central Park and we elected 3 Sheets for her last happy hour before marriage.

At 5 p.m. on a Tuesday afternoon this place was pretty empty. A few groups were scattered across the finely decorated space. Whoever designed 3 Sheets did a great job. There are lots of seating areas for private parties.

The waitress escorted us to our space and we settled in with cocktails and appetizers. Our assortment of starters was pretty tasty. We had the cheese board, bruschetta and calamari. No complaints here.

What I really loved was the grilled cheese with tomato bisque for dipping. Our waitress informed us the restaurant hosts grilled cheese dinners with wine pairings. I'd love to come back for one of those.

There are only a few gripes with this place but it narrows down to the fact 3 Sheets is trying too hard. The waitresses all wear skimpy black cocktail dresses with some manager-dude in a suit looking all bouncer-like in the corner of the bar. Y'all, we're in Sandy Springs. Give it a rest.

I was also surprised when I received my bill. With three cocktails and the cheese board it came to $42 before tip. Pretty expensive for a happy hour.

Perhaps I need to give 3 sheets another chance for a date night or a weekend party. For happy hour in Sandy Springs, I'm sticking to the patio at good ole' Cocktail Cove.

The first thing you notice about Three Sheets is the atmosphere. We stopped in on Friday night for a birthday party. It was very dim and definitely had a red and black sexy theme going. There was already a pretty good crowd, but we were led to our own reserved area (which could be closed off with a curtain!) for our party of eight. There are small tables for two, but for bigger groups, you sit on these banquette-type seating with lower tables. They have a limited menu of small plates and a cocktail menu. I didn't try any drinks, but off the tapas menu we ordered:

Fried Calamari: Served with sriracha aioli, pickled jalapenos, fresno peppers and roasted poblano peppers.

Trio of Sliders: You can choose between the vegetarian option with tomatoes and mozzarella, the angus with sweet pickle, lettuce, tomato and sriracha aioli and the BBQ pulled pork with jicama and jalapeno slaw. We got one of the angus and two pulled pork.

The calamari was not spicy at all, considering the amount of peppers. It was nice and crispy, though overly salted. My boyfriend was disappointed they only gave us the "rings." Haha.

My boyfriend was impressed with the angus slider. I had the pulled pork and fell in love. It was nice and sweet, and the bun was perfectly toasted with crispy edges, yet the center was pillowy and soft. I could have ate two more.

I also sampled a bit of the beef carpaccio (good, if you're into the rare meats thing -- I thought it could use a bit more flavor) and the flatbread bruschetta (the tomatoes were crushed, I think they should have been diced).

Throughout the night, they kept dimming the lights more and more. Makes for a great date place as there is a really nice romantic vibe.

The crowd here seems to be about mid-to-late 30s and Caucasian... and we were the only Asians, I think.

When I think of tapas, I think of really small plates with a tiny bit of food on each, but the portions are pretty big here. For example, the carpaccio came on this HUGE platter with a mound of salad in the middle. The calamari came on medium-sized plates and were piled pretty high. Three of the sliders makes for a meal in itself.

Another thing that makes Three Sheets more than a restaurant are the "servers." They're not so much servers as they are hosts and hostesses. They're very nicely dressed in suits and ties/ black dresses. Our hostess, Priscilla (hi if you're reading this!) was great, came by multiple times to check on us and at the beginning of the night, sat down and chatted with us about how she just discovered Yelp on her iPhone. Haha.

I say hit up this place if you're looking for a place for Valentine's Day! The atmosphere and black and red decor are perfect.

Ahhh, sex appeal at it's best. This is a very nice lounge as everyone has stated OTP.I felt like I'd stepped into a chic Manhattan lounge. I don't venture to these parts often. However, I had a friend in town on a business trip who I met for dinner. Another friend mentioned this spot because it was close and said I'd surely fall in love, indeed I did. Food was good and the ambiance we just perfection. I heard Fri night was their HOT night.

Hours: Open from 5p-mid (Tues-Thurs) Fri & Sat 5p-2a, Closed Sun I think
    Live DJ
    Free Parking
Menu Selection - limited small plates and about 6 main entrees
Drinks - moderately priced, but pretty good

Try them out for yourself. I think it's worth the drive OTP, especially in the Spring and Summer.

    I dig this place!

    Atmosphere/Ambiance - 5 stars
Definitely a great lounge.  It was dark lit with over sized plush couches and comfy chairs to replace the standard dining room table appeal; gothic-mid century kind of decor with a posh kind of crowd.  Everyone was dressed up, sipping their martinis and jack on the rocks in suit jackets and dresses.

    Drinks/food - 3.5 stars
My martinis were never filled to the brim, they were not strong (filled with more sugar water than alochol), and the food was "meh, ok".  We tried an array of appetizers to include the pork lollipops, spinach and feta bread, and calamari.  The calamari was the best out of the three.  There was not much to choose from so if you are hungry and looking to eat a lot, I would not suggest this place.  Its great for appetizers and drinks... just be selective on what kinds of drinks you order.

    Price - 3 stars.
I think for the quality of food (not so great) and the non-alcoholic martinis (insert sarcasm here) drinks we paid a hefty bill to come here.  The martinis were $11-$12 a piece here... I dont even pay that in Boston in most places.  Disappointed on prices for sure.

    Overall - 4 stars
I am a sucker for posh lounges and will find myself back given its right in my neighborhood.  It may not be for the whole night but not a bad place to start your Saturday night for sure!

I came here for a friend's birthday party. My friend had reserved one of the booth areas.

The ambiance and the decor are very much to my taste - kind of dark and loungy. I really liked the layout of our "cabana." It was comfortable and great for mingling and interacting with others.

The food was ok... nothing to write home about, but not bad either. Next time, I would probably eat something at home beforehand, then just have a few snacks here.

The reason why I'm giving it only 3 stars is because of the service. Service was really terrible. 4 of us arrived at the same time and were seated. The waitress came around, took the drink order of one person and then left... wth?!? To get a drink was almost impossible and twice, I had to place my order more than once. They also forgot about my food order. One of my friends found out that the coat check girl gave her coat to someone else. Thankfully the other person noticed before leaving...

All in all, I would go there again for drinks or a party, but probably not for dinner.

I came here for a wine and grilled cheese sandwich tasting a couple of days ago. The decor is striking in like in a cheesy B rated vampire movie or something. Melted candle wax and ominous red lighting doesn't really do it for me. I was either in a very trendy lounge or Nosferatu's bedroom.
All kidding aside the place is a lounge/bar/restaurant. I glanced at the regular menu and it seemed pretty good. They had a decent sized draft beer selection and nicely frosty glasses. Always a nice touch!

We came here for the wine and grilled cheese pairing and I actually enjoyed it. The sandwiches weren't anything fantastic, but it was a fun experience although I wish we would have had private seating instead of sharing a booth space with other people. After 6 courses of wine and sammies... I was fairly sloshed. I'm pretty sure I paid, but I can't be sure....oops...

I would not come here regularly, but I'm glad a place like this is open in the Sandy Springs area.

The first thing that struck me about Three Sheets was the decor. Walking in, all I noticed were the dark velvet curtains, the abundance of candles and the nooks and crannies. Basically if vampires existed this is where they would hang out. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. For a random Tuesday night, there was a decent sized crowd. I loved the low tables and comfortable couches - definitely group dining friendly.

I came here yesterday for their first ever grilled cheese and wine dinner. The meal consisted of 5 courses of grilled cheese sammies, each paired with a wine. There was also a 6th course of dessert. Apparently the restaurant is planning to make this a monthly event. For the price (30$/person) I thought it was a very reasonable meal although I did wish for a little more meat.

I did snag a quick look at their regular dinner menu and I have to say I'm probably going to be back to give it a try. It's good to know there's a bar/lounge like this in the area. Certainly unexpected for Sandy Springs.

I've been to Three Sheets a few times now and must say that it's great to have a new, cool place in Sandy Springs.

Atmosphere- Low lit lights, loungy, piano bar feel but more hip. There are couches with tables instead of your standard restaurant dinner table. It's the kind of place where you check yourself when you walk in to make sure you're clothes are in style b/c you may not fit in but then you see a couple old folks (but not too many) at the bar and realize you're okay.

Drinks/Bar- The bar is very inviting and decorated nicely. The drink menu is fairly standard with typical prices. I would guess that most people that go here drink wine or cocktails but I'm a craft beer lover and was pleasantly surprised and pleased with their beer selection.

Food- It's a great place to go if you're not overly  hungry and just want to have some good drinks and inexpensive but delicious small bites. I had the Spicy Mac and Cheese which had a kick to it and rocked! Some of the best mac and cheese I've ever had.

Overall- Great alternative to going all the way to MIdtown if you live in this area. The upstairs deck is awesome too. I'll be back.

The vibe and decor was definitely nice; it had a swanky midtown loungey feel to it.  In other words, I didn't feel like I was OTP at all.  However, we stopped in late on a Friday night (after midnight, I'm sure) and the place was like a ghost town.  The bartender said that there's usually a nice crowd, but I guess I'll have to take his word for it.  I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, however, considering it was Labor Day weekend.  Then again, I would think a holiday weekend should have helped the place.  But what do I know...I just go for the drinks.

Speaking of which...the sangria was tasty, the music was groovy and other than the lack of good eye candy (or any eye candy, for that matter), the place was alrighty with me.  I'll definitely go back and hopefully, others will too.

Wait... am I still in Sandy Springs? did I just walk through some kind of vortex? This place is way cool!

It's such a comfortable environment and decorated to that end. It's modern and classy but still very relaxed. Lots of low lighting and clean lines. They could probably benefit from a little more lighting in some areas though - had trouble reading the drink menu. The staff was very helpful and attentive from the moment we walked into the bar.

I came in with some friends for the Flavor Tripping party and some drinks. We ate at Teela Taqueria (see review) first. I wish we had eaten here though!

The Flavor Tripping experience was really cool - definitely worth the $20. They even gave one girl in our group another berry because she didn't notice anything from the first one. Basically, you get a berry and several small plates of food pairings that involve fruits, cheeses, misc sauces and things for dipping, and alcohol.

I'd absolutely like to come here again. It might be a while though since it's a little far.

This place is sexy and when you walk in you may forget that you are in Sandy Springs...honestly you would think that you just stepped into a nice lounge on South Beach in Miami. The ambiance is cool and relaxed and you can have your choice of whether you want to sit at a table or in one of their many plush chairs or sofas that they have around the room.

The food is really good too! I can't comment on their drinks because I'm preggars and can't have anything right now..but I did enjoy a Shirley Temple! Oh and be sure to check out the patio upstairs. It's super sexy as well! Enjoy!

Three Sheets is a swanky little bar in Sandy Springs.  The inside is dark with couches and tables.  There is also a patio upstairs, but we didn't go out there.  The bar also has a humidor, but didn't smell like cigars at all.

The menu was mostly, if not all, appetizers.  My husband and I shared the trio of sliders (I had the caprese) and the hummus.  Both were decent.

We don't live in Sandy Springs and there was a specific reason that we went to this bar.  They host flavor tripping parties on Wednesdays.  What's flavor tripping, you ask?

For $20, you are provided a "miracle fruit" and several food pairings.  You are instructed to roll the miracle fruit, which is like a berry, around in your mouth for about a minute.  Afterward, somehow your taste buds are altered and sour foods taste sweet.  The effect lasts for up to an hour.  We were provided three courses to go with our berry.  And by courses, I just mean three little sampling plates.

The server bringing the plates was very helpful and told us what each was supposed to taste like after eating the berry.  The first plate was sour fruit - lemon and lime slices.  They tasted sweet, almost like they were dipped in sugar.  The second plate was a bunch of random stuff - strawberries with goat cheese that was supposed to taste like cheesecake, ketchup that tasted sweet, hot sauce that didn't burn, etc.  The third course was a tiny shot of tequila that was supposed to taste like top shelf, a tiny shot of sour apple martini that was not sour and a Guinness and lemon sorbet float that was supposed to taste like a milkshake.

Although it's not something that you'd really do more than once, the flavor tripping experience was neat and I definitely give Three Sheets points for hosting something so unique.

Some friends and I went to Three Sheets for drinks and food to celebrate a friend's birthday.  We arrived a little after 7:30 on a Friday night and the place was dead.  The "mood lighting" was too dark for some of our party, so we decided to settle in up on the patio and order drinks.

The menu had a nice list of spirits, including whiskeys which ranged between $10-$15 if I recall correctly.  I saw Maker's at the bar, but it wasn't on the menu so I inquired about it.  Out waitress came back and said it was $10 so I ordered one on the rocks.  She told me it would cost more to have it on the rocks.  When I asked how much more, she said "a couple dollars or so".  I've been to a lot of restaurants and bars and have never been charged extra for ordering a drink on the rocks.  This awkward exchange set the mood for the evening.

The drinks took a while to make their way back to us, but there were ten of us so I can understand.  When she arrived, our waitress spilled a quarter of my wife's martini on her. Although she did apologize, there was no offer to freshen it up or bring her a new one.  OK, two awkward exchanges, but we'll keep it going.

Everyone ordered food.  The first few plates came out and then the second round of plates followed a few minutes behind.  Not the best timing, but maybe they were short staffed?  The birthday girl didn't get the food she ordered and, after two inquiries, another girl in our party finally got her food roughly twenty minutes after everyone else had started on their meals.

My sliders were good and reasonably priced at $8.  On the way back from the restroom, the manager happened to ask my wife how everything was going for our party.  She told him that were having a good time but there had been a few mishaps.  He assured her that he would tend to it.  What could that mean?  Take something off our bill? A round of drinks? A dessert for the table?  A drink for the birthday girl?  Apparently it meant do absolutely nothing.

To top it off, I, and another guy in our group who had the sliders both were awoken in the middle of the night with some "stomach issues".  He said he also had the sliders and that he only had a couple of bites of the beef one before he realized it was very undercooked.  I don't think mine was undercooked, but the fact that we were the only two people in our group to suffer later that night is telling.

I really was excited about trying this place, but this was not a good experience.  Perhaps it would have been better with a smaller group.  I assume my experience was the anomaly, and it wasn't all bad.  The other people in my party really enjoyed their food--especially the scallops and the macaroni & cheese.  Also, the place had filled up by the time we left so there was a better vibe. I'll probably give Three Sheets another chance, but as a place to grab a drink later in the evening.

Dropped by Three Sheets on 5/1 for a quick bite before hitting a comedy show at the Punchline nearby.

VERY COOL setup - laid back - great staff/service.

Both the Petit Filet and Ribeye were GREAT and affordable.

I was only there for about an hour between 8-9pm, but this place really made a great first impression.  Had we not had tickets for the 9p comedy show, we would have stayed. Looking forward to my next visit.

Three words describe this place...cool & laid back.  I felt like Old Blue Eyes was going to walk up to the baby grand at any moment and belt out a song.  Sweet.  The huge and comfy couches are begging to be sunk into and the cozy corners invite a group of friends to make memories.

Drinks...it has the normal variety.  I like that I can get a bottle of wine for $30.  I felt like I should be paying more, but I wasn't.

Food...the menu is just one page of tapas. All looked good.  The flat bread was three small triangles of bread with cheese.  Good but felt a little small.  The grilled cheese with tomato bisque completely made up for it.  Super good.  Amazing actually.  A huge sandwich on artisan bread chalk full of yummy cheese dipped in spicy tomato bisque.  I am drooling just thinking about it.

This is an amazingly cool place smack in the middle of Sandy Springs...or is it Dunwoody?  I always get those two confused.  Whichever, it's next to Kroger, I highly suggest you check it out.  It's Mid-town/Buckhead with out the toll.  Love it!
