This place has finally shut down. Word on the street is that they weren't making enough money and their liquor license was about to expire and renewing wasn't an option.
This place was nothing to rave about. Cheap drinks on Tuesday but then they started to charge a cover. The crowd was starting to deteriorate. The bartender women were usually bitch with an attitude. The shot girls were skanks to say the least. I understand you are trying to do your job, but throwing yourself on these men with their girlfriends standing in their arms it's some desperation. Food was good when you have been drinking.
Someone got shot here recently, good thing it's closed
Somehow our work holiday party ended up here. It was planned by gals who live on the southside and because this place had $3 drinks and 50c wings on Friday we ended up here! Definitely no complaints on my end!
The drinks were poured with a nice and steady hand :) and anything you could want was $3!
I did not sample the wings but had a bacon cheeseburger, fries and buffalo chicken bites. All was pretty darn good. Would I go back JUST for the food, nope, sorry. But if I ended up here and was hungry...I'd eat!
Our server was fantastic! We were a table of 10 at 1pm on a Friday. There were only 3 other people in the bar at the time until we left around 5 and she kept running between us and the bar and was GREAT! A few coworkers ended up on the pole, yes they have a "dancers" pole on the stage, and she glady put on fun music for them to dance to.
Don't be scared of the Tiger Lounge....it reminded me of a few of the towny bars from my college days in Bloomington. It was A-OK by me! They also had great shows playing on tv to entertain us...we watched HOURS of Killer Karaoke on TruTV.
