The service can be a bit slow when they are busy, but all in all this is your average bar but with the gimmick that all the girls are dressed like hooters. but for a hotel bar, it's pretty good. the local beer, 312 is pretty tasty. the prices are reasonable. Overall if you want to drink and you're stuck at the clock tower, this is a perfectly normal place to get a drink,

Absolutely terrible. Our waitress came up and complained about the hygiene of a drunk lady at the bar. Pretty soon the drunk lady came over to our table and was bothering us. Instead of doing something about her they sat and watched so we got up and left. I will never walk in here again. Poor management!!!!  And the beer was warm too.

Several  friends and I went a few days ago and had a great time and a great meal. While the "kilt girls" are dressed skimpily, it becomes barely noticeable after a few minutes.  It's not "skanky" as another reviewer said.  They don't flaunt it or shake their bodies in your face like SOME restaurants I could mention.   It's very nice and I saw quite a few people there enjoying a meal with their kids.   The waitstaff was attentive and friendly.  We didn't have an issue with anything except we were supposed to have separate checks and they paired the wrong people up - but quickly rectified.

The Irish Nachos - basically nachos made with slices of potato - are very good.  I'd go back for those alone.   The burgers look HUGE and delicious.  I got an Irish Dip, which was a little dry for my tastes (and I like dry) but it tasted good.   They give you about 8 potatoes worth of fries.  Seriously, I couldn't finish and I'm a girl who likes her potatoes.

Everything was clean and comfortable.  Recommended!

I didn't stay here long enough to try anything.. .only stopped in to say good bye to some people after a wedding at the hotel.

The staff is dressed in skanky outfits - nothing sexy about it unless you are totally drunk or have no class.

Food is wonderful and you can complain and get extra portions. The cabbage gives me lots of gas but I can hold my own. One suggestion, bring a mirror and attach it to to your shoe. It makes peeking up the girl's kilts easier and much less obvious.

It is my hope that they consider turning this into an all you can eat buffet.  Heck, I'd come here every day, in fact I probably would never leave :)))

I'm really not overly picky and this is the first less-than-three-star review I've written.  But I've eaten there twice and both times the food was literally gross.  The service was very good and very friendly but I think it's demeaning to expect the girls to dress so scantily and I felt awkward seeing them wait on tables with children.

This is another chain restaurant that uses pretty girls dressed sexily to attract their clientele. Because it's not their food that is their selling point.

Every time we go here and get something to eat, we find that the food is either bland or dried out. I've had their Reuben's, sliders, chili, Chilelagh, Pastrami Sandwich, and the Shepard's pie. None of them were bad, but they really didn't do anything to impress me.

They have a decent selection of beers on tap. Mostly the big named mass produced American beers, but they do have a couple of smaller ones on tap.

The best thing about this place is the atmosphere. I love the way it's decorated and the various sayings and blessings painted on the walls.

The worst thing about this place is the bathrooms. They aren't in the restaurant. As this Tilted Kilt is located at the Clock Tower Inn Resort, you have to leave the restaurant and then go down a flight of stairs to get to the bathrooms. I know that when I'm there with my wife, she does not like having to go to the bathroom alone as they are in a dark  and secluded area with little traffic. Mix that with a couple of guys from out of town that have been drinking heavily at the bar and staying in the hotel, it has caused a couple of issues.

The atmosphere is what you expect.  My wife is absolutely beautiful, so I generally don't go here for the eye candy.  UFC fights are the main reason we go here.  We always get the huge plate of nachos, which is great.  The Irish Dip is excellent also.  Great food, good prices and no limit to the amount of cleavage you will see during a meal.

Since it is in the Clock Tower, sometimes you have to walk quite a way from the parking lot to the door, which is cold during winter, but besides that, it is a really nice place.

First visit to the Rockford franchise. It is not handicapped accessible, as there are two steps to get in the front door and while there is a ramp to the bar level inside, it is difficult to access from the hostess stand.  There are steps up from the hostess stand.  Despite one of our group having a cane and a great deal of difficulty walking, the hostess said "it is just two steps, you can do it."  The bathrooms are located off the lobby, two flights of steps below the establishment. While there is a lift to access the lower level, it is slow.  The men's room was not handicapped accessible; although one urinal was lower than the others, there is no handicapped stall or sink and the narrow doorway with a sharp right angle makes accessing it with a wheel chair impossible.  The service was attentive and efficient.  It would appear this is the place where high school girls formerly employed by Hooters go after getting their tramp stamps and implants.  It is good to know the slutty look types have a place for future employment.  The food was acceptable, hot and served in a stylish fashion.  The soup of the day was a 'chicken enchilada' that was tasty, well seasoned and hot.  It was tasty enough to almost make me order a second bowl.  The bacon on a chicken BLT could have used a bit more cooking as it was far from crisp and there was no seasoning or mayo used that would have made it more palatable.

The food is not good.  Both meals I've had were dry and lacked flavor.  The service is not much better and the waitresses have no clue what is on the menu or what kinds of beer are on tap.  I guess they are just supposed to look good in a tight outfit.  I'm not against that but some social skills and experience would be appreciated.

Went here last night for my first time to have a meal (I had been there previously just to drink at the bar), and it was definitely an interesting experience.

First of all, I really do like the atmosphere. It's clean, feels pretty open, and there's some nice generic decor on the walls.

The staff was very friendly. I was with a large group of outspoken guys for a bachelor party, and the wait staff all came over and rolled with all the likely inappropriate punches that these guys were throwing. They all were nice and prompt with service.

The food, however, left me with something to be desired. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap, which was bland and pretty uninteresting. The garlic fries were pretty good, but nothing exciting. They also ran out of Jack Daniels...which I thought was strange.

Definitely not a bad place overall, but with so many really top-notch restaurants in Rockford, I likely won't be returning for the food here.

The best way to describe this place is Hooter's, but ten times better!

Instead of semi-attractive girls in tights and tank tops, these girls wear school girl uniforms (think Britney Spears in Baby One More Time) and they all look amazing.

Not to mention the beer and food. They had a wide selection of taps and the bartender was very friendly and prompt. I ordered the Gaelic Chicken meal and it was delicious. The chicken was extremely moist and tender, plus the mushroom sauce was fantastic.

I don't usually give out five stars, but this place earned it!
