I've been here a few times and everytime I go, I order a burger.  The burgers here are out of this world.  It's by the far the best burger that I've ever had.  I would keep coming here just for the burgers alone.  They are very tender, big, and juicy.

My favorite Sports Bar in Atlanta. I watched the Silva UFC fight here. Great atmosphere, good drinks, and the crowd was amazing! Probably will also be watching the Mayweather fight here also tomorrow night!

I went in there one time with my mom, to order take-out, and it was so smokey, I had to step outside to wait for our food, which took a really long time to be ready, even though the only two other customers who were in there, were just having drinks.  Other than that, the service was good, and the food was ok.  My husband met a friend there before, and everything was pretty great, except him coming home smelling strongly of smoke, and had to take a shower as soon as he got home.  Last night, my husband and I ordered take-out, and the service and food was much better.  Also, since there were no other customers in there, then no smoke smell.  In short, I would definitely recommend for take-out, but not eating/drinking in, unless you are a smoker.  It's also great because it's one of the few places around here that are open late.

Great spot for hanging out getting drinks to take the edge off. I had the Shark Attack Fish Bowl which was huge even for a small and a Banana Split shot both drinks were great. For eats, I tried the chicken quesadilla which was pretty good and more of a American style which you would expect from bar food. I give this place 3/5 due to no hostess at the door and fairly decent service. However, I will be back b/c it's close and the drinks are good!

Pretty good spot.  The garlic teriyaki wings, ceasar wrap...everything is decent.  They have poker daily.

Love the atmosphere of this place.  Been there a few times to watch football games. A whole bunch of tv's, beer, and wings...what else can you ask for??

Those Lemon Pepper wings are pretty damn good...plus there is a tattooed bartender who is ultra hot. Ultra...hot.

Its a true sports bar. Fav chill spot

When I first moved down to Atlanta the end of May, I was introduced to Tony's and I loved it! What brought me back was my order of chili cheese fries and quesadillas.
I have since been there often with friends and coworkers when they come to my side of town.
The drinks are great and every time I went I had the SAME waitress and she is beautiful and very friendly.
The music is great, its a very mixed crowd so you will NEVER feel out of place. Gove it a try.

I had heard good things about this spot.......but  for lunch maybe not so much.

Its a good size places with several TVs....a good start for most sports bars....but the menu is underwhelming, the service is somewhat slow and didnt know how to work the TV's, wasnt up to speed on the beer offerings.........and just really wasnt up to par on the whole serving and making the patrons comfortable thing at all.  Service is so important to a first timers restaurant experience.

The plus is that the Lemon pepper garlic wings had good size and good taste.  Another minus is, if someone thinks its cool to smoke in your bar, have the courtesy to ask the other patrons that are there to eat/drink if they mind.  Most places doesnt even allow it........Wings arent fun consumed in smoke....unless its....well, thats another review.

Tighten up that lunch shift and maybe I can return and be a lil nicer.

It's a smokers place.  I walked in and right back out.

This place is what it is. I enjoy the food though I am mainly on the appetizer side of the menu. Based on other reviews I will pay better attention and try to avoid using a credit card on future visits.

The owner, Tony, is a hoot and a fantastic cook. He really listens to the customers and if the servers mistreat customers, he acts quickly to get 'em out of there to keep the atmosphere good. Make sure that if you visit in the evening you ask about specials that are not on the menu. One time I got oysters on the half shell which were real good and on another occasion I got an 8oz steak with huge salad and loaded baked potato for close to $10.

I am a fan of neighborhood sports bars. My wife and coworker decided to host their jobs Christmas get together here. There was plenty of seating. Free pool and Poker nights must be a real hit because there was a good turn out.
My the food was good and the service was excellent. My only complaint was an issue with my wife's watered down Long Island Iced-tea.  I explained to the bartender that her "fishbowl" was filled with ice and the drink taste like water. He was very short and refused to listen. The waitress offered another shot for another $6 on top of the original $13, I was just gonna leave it and just never come back but thought this was no way to be treated especially the amount of people that was in our group. $$$. We called for the manager and without any problem, he fixed the drink to perfection.

The live band had the crowed backing their things up and the D.J. played a good mix of music,

I would advise anyone to check this place out. Its a cool hang out spot and the prices and service was on point.

These people have absolutely NO integrity! My husband and I paid $40 to watch the ppv fight on Saturday night. He paid with a credit card because the ATM wasn't working. He put a line through the tip line. This morning he checked his account and the bums charged $48. Evidently the broad that ran the card added an $8 tip. Needless to say, we won't be back. If you eat at this place, I'd advise using cash.

I am definitely a fan of this place. Tony is like super cool, very personable...I really like that this is a neighborhood bar but it's huge inside...pool, dining, poker and the service is pretty cool too.  I really like Red, I don't remember her name but once you see her, you'll know exactly who I'm talking about, awesome girl...awesome after work (or in our case workout) joint!!!

There have been some pretty harsh reviews about this place but seeing as it has a good Sandy Springs/North Atlanta location, I decided to check it out.

We went on a Friday night at about 8 and were pleased to see it wasn't super busy. The place is huge. Considering the relative size of the establishment, I don't think they could ever appear to be packed.

We had the pizza which was surprisingly good for bar fare. The service wasn't fantastic but was far from bad too. The beer selection was decent and I believe they had some sort of special on Sweetwater though the details are escaping me.

The major bummer for me was the smoke. They allow people to and it is annoying. On a positive note, there is pool (can't remember how much to play but didn't seem expensive), darts, & some decent bar video games. About the only thing missing is shuffle board.

I like this place as a neighborhood bar and will be returning.

Great service good food and Wednesdays the stage has Radio Cult band to keep your feet happy. Come dance and sing and enjoy the diversity that is Radio Cult. m/m/

P.S. We had even better service when the owner was one table away, imagine that!

Been to this place twice, it was a nightmare both times. The staff informs you they want a bigger tip when the service was shitty. Don't go here unless you want your credit card charged double for tip! Left my digital camera on the table went back not there of course, b/c the staff is so desperate for money they steal and might add beg...and I quote..."really, this is all you guy's are leaving me? I work really hard and I want more money than this..." yep...BOLD as hell. Flick Flick Flick, here bitch here is 10.00 for your shitty service, what's that 33%, yeah you really need it more than me. Unforgivable. Called the police to investigate and file report with a sever by the name of Adrienne, she was found to be very dishonest, so beware I'm sure she still works there.

NO STARS! Why, because all day yesterday I was looking for a bar to watch the Pacquiao vs. Cotto fight, and I find that Tony's is the only one I could find, who is showing the fight around Atlanta.  I am full-blooded Filipino, new to ATL, and I just wanted to watch the fight.  I get to Tony's, which is about a half hour from my house, and they are charging 20 dollars a person to get in.  I don't have the money, and the guy says "ok 15."  Again, WAY TOO MUCH for me.  Then he says 10.  Still, ridiculous, considering it was packed in there.  I just say "no" and walk away a bit angry and confused.  I remember passing a Buffalo Wild Wings on the way to Tony's, so I decided to take my chances there.  And sure enough, they are showing the fight for free!  Even though they had no seats left, they still let people stand and watch.  Talk about hospitality.  But Tony's gets two thumbs DOWN.

Wow, it's been a while since those last reviews, and whereas this is no 5 star, it definitely looks like the owners/managers made some changes.

So if you're an ITP snob, yeah, the best you are going to get in Sandy Springs is edible food or a bar to sit at with a beer and watch a game/fight.  Now, granted there are some occasions where you have to go to midtown/downtown and get thrown out of what used to be Wetbar for being heterosexual (or tackled by a bouncer for carrying a bottle of unopened water outside), or have your car broken into while in the 12th and Crescent area. More often then not though, just give me someplace to chill...and even funnier is that I was there for the first time last week, living walking distance from this place since before it opened.  YAY for avoiding a DUI.

So, I get there and the first thing that comes to mind is that this place is big.  I realize it's not so much big as it is just open and feels big.  Either way, I like it.  Not to mention there is two bars, a VIP area, the pool tables are isolated (no drunken bumps), and you can't turn without being able to see 5+ TVs.  I order a Stella and then a Sweetwater.  Yum; tastes just like the ITP Stella/Sweetwater.  Wait, side note -- I live in Sandy Springs so my feelings were hurt, so yes, I'm taking ITP cheap shots! LOL -- onward. I decide to be safe and order the Rajun Cajun Burger.  This was neither Rajun nor Cajun (I guess I've spent too much time at the Vortex), but it was a damn good burger that went well with the tall, cool, yummy beers!

So, in short, location aside, it's a fairly good place to hang out and get some bar grub/beer.

I've been. It's Sandy Springs. It sucks. And your bartenders should learn to wear more clothes...specifically the ones that are entirely too old to be wearing what they were. Mmmhmm.

Is there a "none" option on the "best nights" portion of the Yelp survey?

I couldn't remember the name of this place, I tried to block it out of memory, but since the owner so gratefully posted a five star review of it for themselves, my memory was jogged. So thank you! For reminding me what a horrible establishment you own!!!

This place made American Pie look like one classy joint. And well....that's closed. So don't worry Tony's, I'm sure you aren't far behind!!!

    EDIT 12/19/07:
    "MESSAGE FROM TONY M.

I apologize for the attire of my bartender, yes i do agree and good help is hard to find.  I have ordered her a v-neck t-shirt for her to wear.  and thanks for your support on my restaurant closing like American Pie.  Have a heart i have a family to support too, just like most hard working Americans.  I wouldn't wish losing a business or a job on anyone.  It's really sad because there will be almost 30 establishments in Sandy Springs closing at the end of the year.  And most of those are working owners  like myself...  I guess they won't have any Christmas Presents under the tree this year...  But I'm sure you don't care because you probably never invested your life savings into a business and lost it all."

*Ahem* - Dear Tony, no I do not personally wish for your establishment to shut down. But I am an honest reviewer. I have been to your bar and I simply did not like it. I didn't like American Pie either, it had a similar atmosphere, thus the comparison. I do not wish for your kids not to have Christmas presents and if you feel that way, you aren't really getting what Yelp is all about. My review wasn't in mean spirit, it is simply sharing my honest opinion. Writing a five star review of your own establishment isn't exactly honest, no? I wouldn't have even remembered the name of the place if you hadn't written that review.

FACT: your bartenders (all female at the time I was there) ignored me to serve the male patrons, even members of my own party, before me because they thought they would get better tips?

FACT: you didn't have enough staff that night to handle the amount of people there. I felt very unsafe as there were entirely too many people there for a boxing match.

FACT: I just didn't like the choice of music. Sorry.

FACT: the wings I had were horribly undercooked.

FACT: you aren't the only place I've given a one star review to, but you are indeed the first person who's harassed me about a review I've written.
