I loved this place!  Now... it sucks! Its not that they changed to a high price hourly rate.( so now it makes no since for my wife and I to have date night there anymore. ) Its the customer service!  From the host to the front desk to the wait staff! (If you are lucky enough to get a waitress to your table! ) This was not my first bad night there.  This is my third in a row. I don't even drink! I'll spend money on food a games and I'll get my wife drunk! I like to have fun. Topgolf.... your customer service has made it not fun.

To Topgolf- don't respond back. You will write back to show people you care. But I know you don't. Your going to write the same crap. We care and we are going to work hard to fix it. No your not!

All you see is profit. If you care you will fix the little things. Hire more people and focus on customer service.

If you care... you'll try and get me to come back. That's the start to better customer service!

I've read your reply on other reviews.  You never care to get the customers back!

When I managed bars... if I kicked anyone out of the club. I always gave them my card with my cell phone number on it. I told them to call me when they wanted to come back and their first round would be on me.

I always tried. You (topgolf) don't even try. You just expect people to return. Your wrong.

Super idea Top Golf creators!  I really enjoy golf, but hate driving ranges as I grow bored after half a bucket.  Not here!  We kept buying more time and playing different games.  The food was better than average bar food and the atmosphere and drinks are great.  Fun for date, family, friends, work or to play competitively with your golf buddies.  After about 9 the douchey guys did come out a bit, but not as bad as some reviews lead on.  The music is fun and the light show on the range adds to the fun.

FIRST TIMERS: If you're debating going, you need to at least go once and try it out. $40/hr for a hitting bay which can hold up to 6 people. They make it super easy to split the cost and it's even cheaper if you bring your own clubs.

DALLAS AND NEW TO ALLEN: If you've been to the Dallas location and not this one, I would recommend trying it out still. The bar/inside area is better at this location. The outside patio/games/etc. are better at Dallas. Dallas card holders, be prepared to get a new card at this location. They use a different database than Dallas. Bring your old card too and it'll save you $5. The location is substantially less ghetto as well...which is a bonus in my book.

Wait staff could be a little more attentive on Friday night. Maybe hire another person or two?

I don't like the new pay format of paying by the hour. Doesn't make sense for two people to go on Friday-Sunday nights and pay $40 an hour.

This place was a favorite hang out for my family and friends, as well as I hosted a couple of corporate events here.  Now it is an obnoxious wanna-be club scene.  I can't blame them for turning the golf into a play by they hour game and pumping obnoxious electronika music; I am sure it generates a larger profit. But it is no longer something I will partake.  Goodbye TopGolf!

Not for families or anyone over 35 who does not own an Affliction t-shirt.

Okay. I have a blast every time I come here. Who doesn't love a friendly competition with your friends? The food isn't half bad. Beer is beer. Their Strawberry Sangria (by the pitcher) is the best. But..one thing that really gets me EVERY time I come here? The wait staff is BEYOND TERRIBLE!!! They're not attentive at all! It takes ages to get your drinks. Sometimes they even get your food wrong or it comes cold... who wants to eat a cold burger? It takes 30 minutes to order something and another 30 minutes to get it.. Then another 30 minutes before you even get a chance to ask for the check!

What's even more unprofessional? The wait staff will sit and smoke around you. I guess their break time and their prerogative to do whatever they want...but something about sitting around the tables/bays to smoke seems less than classy...especially when no one else at the neighboring bays are smoking...

And in agreement with a fellow Yelper who had posted about the bad attitudes of the front-end staff. Totally agree!! Last time I was here, I walked up to ask how much longer the wait was.. (they told us it would be 1.5 hours and it was closing in on 2 hours...) I kindly pointed out that there were multiple empty bays near the bar. Instead of telling me professionally that they're working on moving people into them etc. The lady had ROLLED HER EYES  at me, then made a face to her co-worker and the customer that her co-worker was helping. ... Wow.. talk about the AWESOME service you get here...

Fun place to hang out with family and friends. I wish I could've practiced more before making a fool out of myself, but it's a great place  for a relaxed business meeting or lunch. Very laid-back and a great a place to impress your date if you know a thing or two about golf. I didn't get a chance to try the food except a bit of the chips and dip so I won't comment on that. They offer a variety of drinks (alcoholic & non-alcoholic), including Starbucks coffee. Bring your own golf clubs to save on rental fee. Come during the weekdays or phone ahead and ask about wait times. =)

Cannot believe how they are truly shooting themselves in the foot with messing up corporate cards. You don't go to this place because the food is amazing... You go here to show clients a good time and if I am already shelling out major bucks to have a few corporate cards, there is no reason that I should have to pay on top of that. Simply ludicrous. Ruining an agreement that I had already paid for... I am beside myself with disappointment.  Consider these not renewed....

Sure I'm no golf ace.  I couldn't tell you the difference between a wedge and an iron.  However, I do know a good time when I have one.  TopGolf is a really great experience for golf players of all abilities.  Having been to both the Dallas and Allen TopGolf, I can say that the Allen location really blows Dallas out of the water.  I've heard Dallas will be upgrading their location, but at the moment they seem a step behind.  Everything at Allen's location, from the bays to the bar, really seem modern and well kept.

Games and food can be a bit pricey, but we found the food (specifically the wings) to be delicious.  A warning that you can drop $40 just on wings and beer for 2 people, so come prepared to spend on top of the games themselves.  Overall, TopGolf is a great place to visit, but make sure you are prepared to wait.

    TopGolf, the high-tech driving range!
With such a crowd, I find it strange.
I hope they're on the stock exchange,
because this trend's unlikely to change.

So fun. I've been hearing about TopGolf for a while now and finally ended up going with a few friends to see what the deal is.

Holy crap, so fun - I immediately understood why it's so popular. Now understand, I do not golf whatsoever. As long as you go with someone who kiiiinda knows what they're doing, you'll be fine.

Drinks were good - they had a full bar, which made me happy. The only food we ordered was some chocolate chip cookies, which were ridiculously rich, but I can't complain.

You can smoke out there at your table, a plus, and there was a mix of country and other random music during the day. Then at around 6 or 7pm, they switched it to dance music. On a nice day, it was basically paradise.

I got there thinking we'd spend a couple of hours, but we were there for about 5 hours. I didn't want to stop playing. Seriously... so fun. I can't wait to go back.

What a great time! Since I saw a Bank of America commercial I have been wanting to try out top golf. When I had family in from the north we finally decided to go. I will say I was warned about the wait, even getting there early I knew I would be in for a two hour wait, to my disappointment the wait was four hours! We were determined to stay so we shopped and wasted time until we were up by then it was only about three hours and we were able to squeeze in two games before they closed. Once we got inside we had a blast! It will defiantly be my new go to place for out of town guests, seeing as most people I know are not near other locations. It was a great atmosphere, and while the food looked good, if we have to wait that long I can see coming and checking in and then going elsewhere to eat so it goes by a little faster. I also am really looking forward to coming back on a Sunday for the brunch specials. I can't wait to go back,

On our recent trip to Dallas, we decided to try out TopGolf in Allen TX. This is a driving range that is out of this world! I loved it, I am not much of a golfer this was extraordinarily fun. The whole concept is fantastic, with the restaurant, drink service whilst playing. It was a fantastic add to our Dallas holiday.

Took my 2 kids 5 & 4 to this place not expecting them to enjoy it. However they had a blast hitting the ball. I purposely asked for a top level so the ball would go farther for them. they enjoyed it and daddy got to enjoy a beer. Win Win

So instead of brunch I had the opportunity to alter my Sunday experience while in Dallas and get a little golfing in.  I love to "pretend" I can golf so this was a perfect outing. I absolutely adore the set up. It includes many grouped  off areas for individuals to large groups to golf, which include seating and waiters for your section. It's pretty neat! Even with your private section you are still close enough to talk to neighboring boots. It's a pretty laid back environment no matter your skill level with golfing, so you all can have a little fun together as well as see how you doing in golfing with censored balls that actually relay your score back to the board. I saw everyone from 7 year olds and up at this location. It's truly a great environment for family, friends, and dating outings in my opinion.

On Sundays, there are Mimosa deals and I personally think there is nothing better than drinking Mimosa and golfing. Other great deals during this time as well. The great thing is along with your purchase of games you can get clubs to borrow for everyone in your party if they do not own any.

On a nice weather Sunday, check them out around Noon, you will definitely not be disappointed in this reasonably priced place.

I participated in a girls night out at TopGolf. It was the best planned trip thus far.
It was a bit rainy the night I went. Surely this place will be deserted with the weather and all right? WRONG! The parking lot was packed.

TopGolf is a little intimidating for a person looking for her party. Fortunately, the girls were easy to find. We reserved a bay at the front desk and were told a wait of 2hrs. That was fine since the rest of our party had not yet arrived. We looked for a table at the bar which proved to be another task. Did I mention how packed this place was on a rainy Saturday night? We finally found a table in the corner and had to wait what seemed like forever for our waiter.

I ordered the chicken and waffle sliders with a margarita on the rocks. The meal was just okay and the drink was a bit strong (not usually a complaint for me). Next time, I will definitely go for something besides a margarita.

As we were approaching our 2hr mark with no text from the front desk, we decided to get an update. We were told it would be another 30mins. No problem as we were enjoying ourselves and some of the girls decided to get another round of drinks. Another 30mins came and went. We were shocked when the front desk said they tried texting us but no response. Apparently some wireless companies filter texts. Really? Next time we'll get a buzzer. They quickly remedied the situation by getting us a 1st level bay. Some of the regulars were disappointed as they wanted to be on the 3rd level but were told we would have to wait. Being a newbie, I didn't mind a 1st level bay.

I was absolutely blown away at how efficient the outdoor heaters were. I always stay cold even inside. I believe the temperature was around 45 degrees that night and, surprisingly, I was comfortable. The machines proved to be a bit quirky but we still had fun. Also, the deck wait staff could have been a bit more attentive. On three separate occasions, someone in our party had to go inside to order drinks.

Overall, I was impressed and will definitely be returning. Once our night was over, I took a tour of the upper deck and would definitely prefer it over a lower one next time.

We had so much fun at top golf. The concept itself is amazing.

The service was decent, but a little slow. The waitress did nothing to fix that fact other than to tell us how busy she and the kitchen were. She pushed the guacamole a weird amount...enough to make me wonder why I should want it so badly.

Other than that, food was pretty good, games were a blast, we enjoyed ourselves!

I love going here. Very fun atmosphere. The food is surprisingly tasty, much better than you would expect at a driving range, but of course this is no ordinary driving range! Most of the servers we have had at both the bar and the bays are very good (a few bad eggs here and there).
My friends and I all did the slider challenge last night. Nine sliders in twelve minutes. Sounds easy right? That's what we thought. All five of us failed.

Very fun place to hang it any time day or night. The drinks are cheaper during the day though!

Sandwiches and finger foods that were provided and plentiful!

I don't golf or really ever have, but def enjoyed every bit of the action.

DJ DTrain also spins here on occasion.  He is one of the BEST DJs in DFW.

The facility is 5-star.  The service is 1-star at best.  We've gone to this location twice on Friday nights, including this past weekend.  The first time, the weather was great and the place was packed.  This time, it was rainy and cool with very few patrons.

I love the TopGolf Dallas location - it's not as nice, but service is great.  This location has a beautiful facility and terrible service.  Our waitress literally stood for 15 minutes at the stall next to ours and PLAYED golf with her friends.  Despite our attempts to get her attention and more drinks, she didn't seem interested in getting bigger bills or more tips.  Then, as she brought our checks (again, after long delays), she blamed it being "windy" as to why we couldn't find her.  REALLY?  Especially when we saw you next to us and deliberately ignoring your tables?!

Experience in the bar was only marginally better.  We observed many of the waitstaff acting in an unprofessional manner and it took 10 minutes for any server to acknowledge us.  Finally did get service, but again, not much attention.  Prior service experience was about as bad.  I want to love this place since it's so convenient to where we live, and the game itself is great.  I just hate getting bad service and I think their management staff needs to address these shortcomings to get people to pay their prices and want to come back.

Beautiful facility! Great bar staff! I had low expectations for the food and was pleasantly surprised! Everything I have ate there has exceeded my expectations and is delicious, not to mention very reasonably priced.  There are a couple different games to choose from and they are tons of fun!! Love that they have free wifi and a tv in every bay.  Great place!!

A couple things they could improve on...
Maybe offer "call ahead" so you dont have to wait to long there.... even if they made you check in 30 minutes before or something but on a 3 hour wait there isnt a lot to keep you busy.

Rental clubs.... They need to go through these more often, we have received sets missing the drivers or other clubs and other times we have received sets with left handed clubs in the right handed clubs or several of the same type of club in one bag.

Overall great food, great drinks, great services, great game and just a great time! So glad this is so close by!

***** They did have major staff issues and computer issues when they opened but those have been taken care of for the most part, you can tell they are working hard to correct the issues they had at their opening.

Really fun, and I don't even like golf!!! But then again maybe Top Golf is changing all that?

Drinks are pretty good and service is usually good too. The location in Allen is a little nicer because of the way the balls are dispensed but other than that its about the same.

If you have never hit a golf ball before this is the place to start out. Its fun to whack a few balls and see how ya do. I'm aweful, but have an absolute blast going seeing what I can muster.

I have a LifeTime card here, and it was well worth the money.  The ambiance and view are going to confirm that a "good time" will happen here.

The only thing I'm dissatisfied about is the unprofessional, rude front-end people.  If they're not moody teenagers, then they're stuck-up older women.  The front-end males are okay, though.  I just find that every single time I have a minute question, they want to give me an attitude for asking.

I had a good time at Top Golf. This isn't anything like regular golf, but instead it is more like a driving range where you score points and have a menu and waiter to bring you stuff.

I think this place is most fun if you bring 6+ people if you plan to make a night of it, but if you are going in the afternoon then 2-3 people is still going to be fun.

Overall good experience. Food is alright as well.

I will be back. And not just because they made me buy a $50 "membership card" that I have to return to use up. But I will be back because I like the place.

Most fun I've had in years. It's a blast. It may take a visit or two to work out all the nuances of "check in here" then "go here" then "go out there", but it's 100% worth it. I had a very rare, positive customer service experience which means I will skip the much closer Dallas Top Golf and drive farther to this one in Allen.

I had the guy checking me in put $25 on my existing card. Then I asked him for an additional card with $25 to give to my Dad who was showing up later. Something got lost in translation and he ended up putting another $25 onto the my card. After clarifying I wanted a second card with $25, he tried to move $25 off my card and onto a second card, but that was easier said than done. He said, "I'm sorry this is taking so long. You're missing out on playing time. I'll leave the $50 on your card. Take this card with $25 on it and give it to your dad."

I was shocked by that approach. Not that he slid over a $25 card, but that he took initiative to eliminate the problem, not to just "fix it." So many places are fixated on fixing problems - and it takes forever with all of our redundant security features - and completely ignore the bigger opportunity to make the problem go away all together. "Oh, you don't have a card to give your dad." That was the problem; not the duplicate $25 on my card. Solution? "Here, take this $25 card on the house." That eliminates the problem. They had the $50 I was going to give them anyways, so it's not like they were out some money. It was me, my dad, and my two brothers and I assure you we ate and drank enough that night to justify the $25 in comp'd balls. And furthermore, I still have plenty left on my card and guess what? I'm coming back.

Top Golf has finally hired enough staff to maintain their busy peaks. I will never agree that money should push you to the front of a line, but overall the place is worth the wait.  Their food actually has a very nice taste. My favorite is the buffalo sliders, but the pizza is also amazing.

The drinks are hit or miss. I love their Sangria but it is only during summer months.  They do serve a full bar, but I'd stay with a two mixer drink.

The place always seems up kept and the waitresses are typically very friendly.

Place gets packed so if you don't want to wait 2+ hours, go during weekday afternoons or mornings on weekends.

Headed here on a Sat morning at 9 AM and there were tons of tee boxes open.  I think the prices are pretty reasonable.  It was cheaper since it was off-peak time.

Service (waitress) could have been bit more prompt.  The Blood Mary should have been bit stronger for $8.

Overall, it's a fun way to kill a couple hours.

First tip I will say get there early if you are going on the weekend.  Unless you do not mind the 2 hour wait.  I have heard that it as gone as high as 3 hours, but I can not confirm that, so take that for what it is.  Now the food is different some good, so ok, and some really good.  They have burgers sandwiches, tacos, nachos, pizza, and other foods.  I have tried the breakfast burger (a burger with an egg on top), and this thing is HUGE so come hungry.

Now the golfing is fun basically I would say it is bowling, mixed with darts, on a driving range.  The game is fun and the area you sit is very comfortable, and if it is a hot day or a cold day outside.  Top Golf has got you covered.  The have fans or heat lamps at each bay.  Also I was there this past Sunday, and it started to rain really hard, and we were still able to play with no fear of getting wet, or the game being effected in anyway.  So go to Top Golf lots of fun, and it is safe for kids, and fun for groups.

In a land far, far away, (I'm talking practically Oklahoma) Geppetto took a block of wood and carved it into Top Golf.  One day, a blue fairy came along and said if Top Golf could become truthful, brave and unselfish, it could become a real boy.

Well, there you have it, they finally made Golf into a real game!  For all of you who are totally agreeing with me, you know what I mean.

This won't become a commentary on Golf and/or the sport.

So this is the first time I've been here.  I've seen it in pictures.  I've heard about it, but my vision in my mind was a completely indoor facility where you played video golf.  Stand in a room with a projection in front of you and drive balls into the screen.  I don't think I could be much more wrong.

This is a covered facility with 3 different tee levels.  There are targets out on the range that you try to put your golf ball in.  If you're successful, the screen will tell you where it went and how many points you score.  Just driving the ball is fun, but making a game of it, gives you a purpose.  It really beats the average driving range.

The secret is in the ball.  An RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) chip that allows the system to know which ball is yours so you get points.  It's set up extremely well.  You pay something like $4 for 20 balls and each time you request a ball (just put your club over the sensor) it reads the ball and dispenses it.  Then PING, off it goes and hopefully it ends up in a target.  The target funnels the balls to another reader that knows which target it went into and VOILA, the screen tells you where the ball went and how many points you scored.  More fun than you can shake a club at.  The funniest part of the evening was watching a little girl in the next bay, she had to be like 4 or 5, cute as a button, try to hit the golf ball, then get so frustrated she threw the club on the ground in rage.  The next time, she just picked up the golf ball and threw it.  HILARIOUS.

There are a bunch of TVs to watch if you want to keep up with sports and some of the bays have nice couches or chairs, others just a regular table and chairs.  Up stairs there are fires to sit near and bean bag games to play.

This place is remarkable.  That's why I'm remarking on it.  The food is bar food, however, it's above average.  I had the nachos with brisket chili.  The nachos were good, the brisket chili probably would have been better on the side as chili, instead of on the nachos.

Service was a little above average (thanks Janessa!) and the price was average.  For the 5 of us, it came to about $55 before tip.  That's 5 food items and 2 cokes.  Not too bad.  I was expecting to pay out the nose.

Richard at the front is very talkative and enthusiastic out the wazoo.  It's a good thing he's the greeter.

This place is the Top for Golf.

The Game is awesome. the Price is perfect.
    The Food is "pretty good"
    The Service isn't too hot.

So it really depends on what you are here for. If you plan to do some serious eating and drinking while you play.. then you might not have such a great time. Whereas, you will be in for long waits on service.. IF you are here to maybe have a coke.. and play TOP Golf games.. you should have an outstanding time. Whereas the games are great and work really well.

Most people before even trying out a driving range already have an impression that a trip to Top golf after hearing that it consists of hitting balls at some designated location can be dreadful and boring! But without any hesitation and disregard, I still want to highly encourage everyone to try this place out, because of what Top Golf has to offer besides some driving range that you'd probably went to in the past and left some sort of bad first time experience for you so, with that, I would like to leave with you a common saying referring to this establishment that, "Once you'd tried the best, you will never want to try the rest" So come out and try top golf, especially the location in allen and get ready for some good food and a great game of golf and driving the wedges out onto the field.

    Regards,

    Bryan

Before my first visit to Top Golf I never picked up an actual club. And I could never mooch off a friends' set of clubs due to being the unfortunate lefty.

When I first walked in on a Saturday night it was a little confusing, but the employees were very understanding (and could obviously pick a newbie like me out of a crowd) and explained where to go to get set up. As others have mentioned, if you think you will make any future visits to TopGolf, listen to the employees' recommendation and get yourself a lifetime membership card. Another benefit of being on their e-mail list is their special offers, the first of which I received less than a week later.

One advantage to the newer Allen location over the one in Dallas is that there are no buckets of balls - just wave your club over the machine's sensor and out comes the next one. This is no small benefit if you've ever been to a driving range where someone knocked a bucket OVER ... in someone else's path.

The waitstaff were courteous and prompt with food/drinks despite constantly being on the move to make sure the requests from all the stations were being taken care of.

I recently discovered TopGolf and fell in love with it. The concept is great. I've made this place a Sunday tradition. The food not so great, and at times the wait it absurd (but understandable).

I recently decided to introduce TopGolf to a close friend. We walked in with Starbucks and had to put our name down for the wait. A staff member, Sean, informed us that there are no outside drinks allowed. We waited right next to the entrance (literally.. ) to finish our drink. Next, Sean kindly asked us to step outside to finish our drinks or throw them in the trash (which he kindly pointed out)

There was certainly a better way to handle this situation. I've worked in the service industry and this is no way to treat customers, especially new customers.

I would compare this situation to finding hair in your food at a restaurant. It would be hard to go back!

Yes. Yes. Hell Yes. I'm not one to go out for 18 holes, nor do I watch golf, well unless I need a nap. This place is just a fun time for all ages, men, women and those who have never touched a club. I come here pretty regularly, I'm the barefoot one with the ipod.

The service is good, there is a lot of stations so its not fast but they try. TVs are everywhere including some displaying your game stats.  Its a deal for the fun, there are different games for scoring, and balls dispense right to your feet !! Hint Park Ln TopGolf does not do this. This Allen location is much better to me, as far as traffic, location, service, and interior.

I recommend getting the lifetime card 35$, gets you 8 gms to start. Each game gives you 20 balls. Just recharge as you go. Discounted card for military, police, and fire FYI.   Don't have clubs that's OK, free rental with your players card. Friday night, and all day/night weekends crowded, and a wait for a station. Get in early.  A cloudy, rainy day this place is perfect for that its covered and you can pick where ever you want to play.

All types come here, golfers, to kids, and people who have no idea how to swing but no one cares. Nobody is watching you, we are all having a good time. I wouldn't recommend kids but hey, if you don't mind swearing, drinking, and smoking around them bring em. You can smoke anywhere, so its everywhere, however its not as common as you think.  Its a cheap time, a game can last over an hour if your playing with 3 or 4 people, shoot every 3rd or 5th ball and rotate players etc. Or you can wack the 20 balls and go fast. If you include food and beer of course the price goes up.

Get you a bucket of corona with limes,  A classic club , spinach dip .. aww yeah. The hot dogs are great but don't fill you up, and for 9$ they should. ahahh. Anyways come MON-FRI lunch hour or early happy hour, you'll love it. See you out swinging.

You don't have to be good at golf to dig this! The few times I have been there, the people around me weren't that good at all. But you're so busy doin your own thing, no one's watchin you miss the ball all together. It's idiot proof too- the games are straight forward and easy to learn. They give you all the clubs you could want and you don't need special shoes- but I'd avoid flip flops.

Pricing is reasonable for the games.

Food and beverage are reasonably priced as well- and the food is pretty good considering it's a golf place.

There's lots of casual seating for everyone- it really is like driving golf balls in your living room. They have fire pits and A/Cs- so it's never hot/cold or wet (it's covered).

TVs, full bar, clean bathrooms, friendly waitresses- I'm tellin ya, no reason NOT to add it to your list of activities to do.

They really did figure out how to take a skill required sport and make it so anyone can enjoy it. I gotta hand it to them- great idea folks!

This place is a great hang out spot.  However I'm a greater fan of TopGolf Dallas.  They have a lot more to offer than Allen.

I wish executive members had a more exclusive area like the one in Dallas.  You pay more for a monthly membership but everything is exactly the same like all the other levels.  If it was spruced up a bit and make it a tad bit different than normal membership than it would be a lot better.

Playing here at night makes it very difficult to track your golf balls in the dark.  Once it flies up there and goes pass the Green (90 yard) mark, it makes it very difficult to track.  The games available to play also isn't that great.  TopGolf Dallas has a lot better games to select from.

The great thing about this place is the number of tv's, which makes it great to play and watch the games.

I am not the world's greatest golfer but this place is pretty fun.  I am not sure how long it has been open but it has a very new feel and is a pretty crowded popular place.

It  is a good place to have a few drinks while you embarrass yourself by not hitting the targets or at least not hitting the target you are aiming at.

It seemed like there were a good amount of regulars and I am not going to be a regular there or at any golf range, but it was a pretty fun place and I would go back if I was going with a fun group of friends.

This is the only way to learn how to become a better golfer. I ripped EVERY SINGLE ball like a Tiger.......Actually, given recent newsworthy events, I ripped them like I was a Mcllroy.

I'm NOT exaggerating. It was Fathers' Day Weekend, and my dad was like, "Wow, Sarah. I had no idea you were taking golf so seriously these days." Me: "I'm not. I actually haven't picked up a club in 3 years."

Here's why you will be a better golfer at TopGolf:

    1) BEER! CIGARS! WAITERS! (oh my!)

    2) FUN ELECTRONIC SCORING SYSTEMS (like bowling alleys have)!

    3) LOTS OF LOUD LAUGHTER & CHATTER (to build your annoyance-endurance on the real course)!

    4) THE LADY/DUDE NEXT TO YOU WILL ALWAYS FLOP THE BALL AND MAKE YOU LOOK AWESOME COMPARATIVELY!

    5) The TopGolf Equation:

"HEY SARAH! WHAT DID YOU SCORE?" + "NO CLUE! WHO CARES! BEER ME AND HAND ME MY 3 DRIVER!" + BABE RUTH POINT TO HOLE + NO INHIBITIONS DUE TO #1 THRU #5 = ALMIGHTY TRAJECTORY BY YOU

Get a group of pals, be ready to wait in their bar/restaurant at least and hour for a spot to open up, and go have you some fun!

PS: The newest TopGolf in Allen, Texas (North Dallas) is by far THE BEST! Brand new facility in a growing area (next to a brand new In & Out Burger.....just sayin').

Disclaimer: This place is so wildly popular, you will have to wait an hour or more for a spot. But good things come to those who wait.

Could be great, but right now is a total cluster...you know. They aren't accepting coupons, groupons, or Gift Certificates for any other topgolf locations or any purchased online. The staff borders between inexperience and confusion. Management is doing what they can, but seem to be over-extended. The good news is that if you manage to traverse the chaos from the opening door to the driving bay, the game is incredibly fun and takes virtually no skill to enjoy.  Drinks are somewhat pricey, but you are paying convenience.

On another note, this is not exactly designed for serious golfers.  If wanting to tailor your game, go to a driving range and get a bucket.  If wanting to kick back with a few beers, swing your clubs, and possibly lose to a senior citizen hitting balls with her purse, welcome home.

I actually went half an hour out of my way to check this location out. Compared to the Dallas one, this one is hands down nicer as expected. The staff is still in training mode so expect mistakes and to wait on things from loading your card to drinks.

There are three levels to hit from, lcd screens all over, and even extra chairs and sofas scattered throughout. Didn't see the giant Jenga set though.

Biggest plus, no more retrieving balls with pails as the balls come to you. All you do is wave your club over the sensor and a ball spits out.
YOU CAN ALSO PRACTICE FOR FREE NOW. Balls come out whether a player is selected or not.

Another plus: In-and-Out down the street.
