This is my favorite beer in Washington.  I especially love the Mango Weizen and the Ginger beer.  The place is kind of cool, hidden away in an industrial park.

    Solid beers.
There's not a lot of spots to hit up for craft beers in this area, but luckily this place exists.  It's tucked away in the back of a bunch of shops.  There are a few TVs to watch behind the bar and there's usually around 10 people there.  Always worth my time to stop by and have a beer.

Good beer not great service, fun little spot but it took about 15 min for someone to help us and it was not that busy. Could have been a bad day so definitely will try again!

This place doesn't map out well if you are using GPS.  It's on the other side of the street, like one of the other reviews says.  So, it's hard to find and not where you might think a brewery is.   Quite a few of us got lost.

It's pretty small inside and there isn't really a lot to eat.  You can order pizza from another business, which we did, but it took quite awhile to get there.  Think ahead.

The staff was friendly and I think everyone had their favorite brew, but it's just okay.

Considering the location, it's really good. Lots of really good beers though they are not always in stock... A testament to how good it is, I guess, but can be disappointing. But it's tucked away in an area where there isn't much other action for food or drink, so in that regard its an oasis in the middle of the desert!

The mango beer is delicious, and I absolutely LOVE their stouts... I'm not a stout guy, but the 3 I've tried are not hoppy at all, and have no bitter aftertaste.

You can get homemade beef jerky and other snacks that are all local (like pizza from the family-owned place nearby) which is a nice touch.

The service is average. Each time I go in, it seems like the bartender is a new girl with little knowledge of beer. That is really the only knock I have. They have open mic nights monthly, which is a nice touch also.

If you're looking for a great small venue to meet some of your best friends or work friends, Trade route is it. A bit on the small size, but intentional. Cold brewed beer on-site and a small menu of food which they order from a small company down the street who make the best pizza. Long live The Mango Brew!

I'm a huge fan of beer (goes without sayin) and since moving to Bonney Lake this has been my go to spot for beer locally. Their Hoppy Bitch IPA is one of my favorite local IPAS and the staff service is excellent. If you are looking for a write up on their food you won't find it here. The order their food in from a local spot that includes pizza, pasta and sub sandwiches. Nothing special.

They do provide some free popcorn and have live music every Saturday night. Great beer, good service and good spot to meet and chat with people over some good beer.

Amazing beer--you have to try the Mangoweizen, as it's unforgettablly awesome.  And, the pizza, which comes from a nearby pizzeria, was excellent--and we're a couple of pizza snobs.  Fun, authentic atmosphere.

Overall I have always had a pleasant experience at Trade Route. Weekend nights are always a great time, especially Saturday nights when they have live music! I have been on an open mic night as well and it was a packed house! Lots of great talent from around the area! This bar has sort of a "Cheers" feel... there are regulars there that even I have seen multiple times. They are all friendly and after just a few times there you can see the sort of bar family that they have all become. All of he bartenders have always been extremely nice to me and whoever I was with, great service, good food. The only negative that I can really think of is that they run out of beer in the tap room every so often. Something about trying to catch up with production, so hopefully they can pull it all together and not have that problem anymore. My husband also wanted to get a keg for a party we had this summer but we were unfortunately told we couldnt place an order for one because they were too far behind to do to-go kegs. If you are wanting a fun night out, aroun easy going people and like beer... check them out!

WOW a lot more reviews then I though was gonna be on here.

The place is alright.  Kind of hard to find.  Its in a warehouse building in the very back off the road.

Food was ok.  Server was busy, but she did a good job.

The Sumtra is were its at.  That has to be one of the best dark ales I have ever had.   Yum yum yum.  I highly recommend it to anyone who likes a good dark ale.

If your ever on 167 and need a brake from evening traffic (I know I do)  swing by and get a good beer.

Oh Sumtra is seasonal (like most) they change up every now and again for new flavors.  That sits ok with me.

    Live music on Fridays.

Moved to the South End after a name change due to trademark issues.  I didn't know you could trademark Buddha.  Some hits, some misses, but they do change it up a little and sometimes offer 6 or 8 varieties.  Last time I went, they were out of my 3 go-to's.  I like the Ginger Pale they make.  I've had several other attempts at this, but I consider theirs to be very good, quaffable.  Their IPA is good, not distinctive.  The Midnight Porter is very nice.  Not a fan of their lager or Mango.  Decent beer, industrial atmosphere, limited parking, but worth a visit.

Trade Route is right off 167 so you could check it out en route to somewhere else.   But, Garmin users, your Garmin will tell you to turn right on Valentine and then in that cheerful monotone voice tell you, "Arriving at your destination."  You won't be there.  But if you turn LEFT on Valentine and take a quick right into the warehouses there, you'll find it.

What's it like?  A production brewery with a long bar and a few tables. The tasting room is seperated from the equipment by a Plexiglas wall.  Industrial truss with lights hanging from it, no frills.  Both times I've been in they were brewing.  Boiling once and just mashing in the other.  Why yes, it does smell like a brewery in here.

The beers?  I always liked the Laughing Buddha Mango and Ginger beer and with the move and name change, they still brew them.  The have a coffee stout which is just O.K..  Same for their IPA.  But the smoke ale is really good if you like that kind of thing.

They have some snacks available but no full food.  They do have an agreement with a pizza/pasta place that will deliver.

Overall, if you're a beer/brewery person, definitely worth the stop.  If you're not, I wouldn't recommend it.

It took me a little to find the place because it is in the back of an industrial complex, but once I found it, I was glad!

It takes me back to when I used to visit the Anheuser-Busch brewery in Williamsburg, VA. You get the smell of a brewery with the bar/pub atmosphere. Bartenders are great, music is awesome, snack food pairs well. Atmosphere is a 4.

Beer is a tough one. The 325, formerly the Chieftan Ale, is the most popular. But I have a couple of favorites. Mango Weizen and Ginger Pale Ale. Must try those two. The Feuerbier Smoked Ale is a toss up. Very "medical" tasting but it has a nice cherry wood smoke, it grows on me, but not for the faint. The rest of the beers are average. Nothing to wire home about, or yelp about. Beer overall in a 3.

Prices are consistent and comparable, service is good (at least around happy hour times), music is good. I heard they even have band/acoustic/open mic nights. Not a night guy so won't see it. All-around I rate a 3.5. Come for the environment and a couple of good beers in an industrial area, but don't expect an amazing micro-brew company.

We stoped in on a Saturday night and was pretty busy. They were serving up pizza up left and right every few minutes seen one showing up and they looked pretty good. TV's to watch some games, 5 or 6 different beers on tap to try and more stop on in just minutes from Auburn off Hwy167.

We wanted to meet a friend here last Friday for a couple of beers before everyone headed back to school. I kind of liked that it was hidden away in an industrial park. The interior was simple but comfortable and clean. My MIL told us that they ordered in pizza so we went in hungry. I'm glad that we got there before my friend. When we sat down at 8:45 the waitress told us that they had stopped serving/ordering food a few minutes earlier. I ordered the mango beer and my husband got the coffee stout. The beers were good but nothing amazing. We're definitely going to stop by again the next time that we're home so that we can try out other beers and hopefully get some food in-house.

Went here on Sunday to watch the Seahawks game.  Great crowd, nice atmosphere, friendly staff.  It felt like a warm neighborhood bar; no one knew my name, but I still felt like I was part of the family.

I also would like to add, that everyone tastes things differently.  So what one might deem a bitter beer, someone else may love it.  Do not base your decision solely on the opinion of one man - who may or may not know anything about beer!

Needs a bit of work. I've tried for the last time to like this place. A brewery in Pacific, Hecks Yah! The thing is, it's missing something. First and foremost, I don't like sweat in my beer. The one and only waitress is sprinting to serve everyone (on more than one occasion). My suggestion is to hire a second waitress. Second, don't get Al-Pac wings. They suck! Pizza's whatev and expensive. The beer is novel, but not outstanding. The idea of this place in the industrial side of town is kinda cool, but it could sure use some tending to.

Smack dab in the middle of an industrial park, the brewery and taproom are in a warehouse.  It's not easy to get to, but that's okay because you don't really want to go anyhow.

They had five beers on tap, so I got the sampler.  That's about 4 oz of each beer, $5.  Usually $6, but they didn't have the sixth beer on.

Jet Stream Lager:  a lager.  Not crisp, not bright, no great interesting hop or malt flavors, just a lager.  1 frowny face.
Chieftain Amber Ale:  not bad, but not the malty sweetness one expects from an amber and a bit bitter for the style also.  Pursed lips, but not a frown.
Midnight Ale:  has pandan leaves and palm sugar in it, so not passing the Reinheitsgebot, but this was definately their best beer.  It's a brown ale with a very crisp finish, light sweetness and a good level of bitterness, but without much of a nose at all. 1 smiley face.
Trade Route IPA:  their second-best beer, 88 IBU's with a very nice hop nose as well and decent malt flavor.  Also 8% alcohol.  1 smiley face.
Ginger Pale Ale:  made with ginger...and galangal...and why would you do this to me?  This beer would be wonderful as a shot between courses of very differently flavored foods, but I would never order a pint.  1 very frowny face.

They serve hot dogs, $1 micro bags of chips, and sometimes-burnt popcorn.  8-10 barstools and 6 or so tables.

This is not a typical bar but the actuall real brewery itself.  When you pull up it looks like an industrial warehouse.  Inside is a nice bar on the left and the all the brewing is done on the right.  The bartenders are really nice and the owners and brewers are usually there if you like to ask questions and learn more about the beer.  Some nights they have music and get a good crowd.

I like microbrews and go to a few brewfests a year.  These beers are very good and unique.  The Chiefdon Amber is probalby going to be their most popular.  You've also got to try the Mango Hef.

I like to support small local businesses and it's great to have our own brewery in the neighborhood.
