This place needs to clean up the sidewalk in front of its establishment, its covered with gum, and yes it is your responsibility to clean it up, another problem I have with this place is that their customers on occasion block my driveway, if you do then say goodbye to your car because it wont be there when you get back. I don't really have anything good to say about this place, I mean id rather they go out of business, perhaps then would be less drunk idiots and fights around the area.

I've been coming here for years because its close to my house. The club is nice, it has a tropical motif with artificial palm trees throughout, and a fairly new elaborate lighting system. The dance floor is good and ample enough, although late in the night it does get very crowded.
People are very friendly, there are a handful of regulars and there is a very good mix of single males and females. Men hang at the bar, and the women huddle in groups at their tables.
The bands (they change about ever year) are decent but they play the same exact repertiore of music every single week.; Â mostly cumbias, some salsa and a mix of other stuff played almost in the same exact order.
The DJ is hit and miss; some weeks he's mixing a good blend of salsa, cumbia, mex-mix.  some weeks he locks onto streams of the same genre like reggaeton and doesn't take the hint  "an empty floor means we're not feeling it"
The cons:
They could use a sound engineer to adjust and balance the sound  because its played WAY too loud...it absoluutely blars !!!
The drinks are weak and over priced, and to top it off they have a really nasty habit of stealing your drinks while you're dancing. Â The wait staff although attractive and friendly " absolutely hound you" Â to buy drinks throughout the night..
The management is positively mercenary. On top of the ugly practice of drink stealing, Â even though they promote free entry before 10:00 on Fridays, they still hassle you and try to charge you. Â
Bottom line, Â I'd never take anyone there if I wanted to impress them, its just a good place to go dance as a spur of the moment thing to do.
Too bad,  because with a little effort this place could  be a neighborhood jewel like El Rio and a fantastic dance venue.
Okay...this place is non discript from the outside...however, enter and you will find yourself in a little gem of a latin club, great for dancing and just watching folks dance away. Â I grew up in the city and probably passed this club so many times and would never have guessed that it was so cool and fun.
I would definitely come back but show up a little earlier to grab a table and chairs. Fantastic!
Checked out this spot after driving by it for um, decades? Â I'm old enough to remember when the church across the s treet from this place was Brentwood Market! But enough of my nostalgia...good location if you don't drive or if you do and plan to drink alot, lots of public transportation (Muni bus lines, LRV's and BART) all 1-2 blocks away. Â Nice, mixed crowd, everyone seemed to know everyone and was just having a blast! Yummy drinks and beers, reasonable prices. Will definitely go back!
