Tumbleweed TexMex Grill & Margarita Bar

I have eaten at several different Tumbleweeds over the years. This one was my least favorite (putting it nicely). The service was slow and almost rude. We waited forever to get refills and when the waiter finally brought my water back there was a napkin wrapper dissolved in it. I don't know how that happened or how they could have not noticed it.

After I got a fresh water, our food was served. The food is mediocre. As I am eating my rice I come across a metal spring.... in my rice... a metal spring. How does that happen? It must have been from a utensil in the kitchen. I asked to see the manager and though he apologized, he didn't seem to care much. I received my meal for free only after having to complain. Needless to say have not and will not be back.

Have not been here in a while, but stopped in for lunch today. WOW! The chips and salsa are great, the service was great. My wife had the BBQ pork sandwich, and she was raving about how good it was. Surprising, now if the one on the river can learn the same tricks I might go back there!
