Union Jack's Inn on the Manatawny

Visited on a saturday afternoon as weather was nice and knew they had an outside section.  On arriving with a party of 4, was told by the waitress she would look for outside seating, before she could do this, another woman (the manageress?) came over and told her she would take care of this, we were asked if we had a reservation, it was 2.50PM on a saturday afternoon, who books a table for this time of day? Its not exactly prime time. We were told we could not sit outside except on one small table that was in direct sunlight and so would be hot, even though there were maybe only 4 tables outside that were taken. We sat inside and when we left around an hour later there were still only 6 tables occupied outside. As we left the woman who asked us if we had reservations was sitting in the sun with 4 other servers who obviously had nothing to do. Being from the UK I was looking forward to trying this place but I and my family wont be returning.

Just returned from Union Jacks. What a disappointment!!!Had resies for 5:30 pm for the outside area. At arrival the five of us ordered drinks apps, and burgers. Patio was almost empty but quickly filled up.Service by non caring wattress was pathetic at best, to9 watch her go thru the minimal motions was irritating. Burghers arrived at 7:30 ,no lights on table had to ask for a candle to see meal. French fries sucked , burgers sucked, it all sucked! I have not left less than an 20 % tip in years, but this was it,10% BITE ME!!! I will never be back!!

first time here.  had a  great time sitting out! side enjoying some beers and food.  there was a wedding that saturday and the bride was a hottie...phew...lucky man!!
