I honestly did not know what to expect walking into a new vapor lounge in Walnut Creek. But it was an amazing experience. The people and prices are amazing! If you are looking to quit smoking this is the place to go. And yes I did read that one star reviews below and had some hesitations but the prices are actually amazing here!

Great store, great products. In all honesty I think vape lounge has all the shops beat on the variety of stuff they carry from begginer to advance levels. The family owned business is awesome everyone is super friendly and HELPFUL. Always trying to make sure you leave with what you want or try to get it for you when you come back. They're prices are very reasonable. I come here for everything I need. Unlike a smoke shop this is a vape only store so you won't get an idiot Behind a counter trying to rip you off on knock off products. Vape lounge is TOP quality and everyone behind the count has great knowledge and vape experience. I can find stuff in here that I cannot find online. And all thier prices are solid for the fact that they have it in there store and ready for you to talke home. No waiting for internet processing and shipping. Always getting in new products. And getting new things in every week.

I forgot to mention the full counter of ejuice testers they have. Which is extremely helpful.

This local family owned business is in my opinion the place to go for everything I need.

My Ego battery died, and I went to every lame smoke shop in Oakland where I work only to find that no one wanted to sell me just a battery and not a "stater kit". I don't need a starter kit. I needed a battery! One place wanted to charge me 39 dollars for one battery. Thanks but no thanks. I thought I would have to go all the way to sf for vapor products, I didn't know there was a shop in my town. Thank you Yelp for tipping me off to this place! Great business and I bought two batteries for a more than fair price. I can't wait to support this local business and not have to go all the way to San Francisco for my e-cig needs. I don't know who left negative reviews but the prices at this place are more than reasonable when you consider shipping charges and the wait time, plus they provide customer service. I am way happy you are here, especially since you are around the corner from my favorite restaurant! I will see you soon and good luck!

I just caught wind of this place today so I stopped by for a clearomizer and some liquid for my Apollo ego. They were more than helpful with knowledge of products as well as very good pricing comparable to online. I don't know what those other reviewers were talking about, someone must have slipped something in their vape pen. Will definitely be going back. This place is growing well in selection and staff knowledge this will be the go to spot for all of your vaping needs.

No idea what some of the angry reviews are about, i stopped in this afternoon, although i've used e-cigs in the past, they never quite cut it, ie:battery issues,juice,etc...There was a younger guy working who was great! His knowledge was impressive, and he got me going with everything i needed, and it was NOT expensive at all.....I don't know what the reviews about bad prices are all about....The prices are VERY fair, considering i've bought the "BLU" starter kit, for 58 dollars elsewhere, with NO refills and the unit was garbage....Kudos to Vapor Lounge!!!

Imagine my surprise when I caught wind that a vape shop was opening up right in my backyard in Walnut Creek! Not only that, but the only reason I even heard about it was because I saw the little blip on yelp. Reading the reviews, I noticed that there are a couple of oddly negative reviews. *Very* negative reviews. Like the kind of reviews someone would only leave after getting ripped off for hundreds at a mall kiosk with a no return policy. For better or worse, I had to check this place out.

Well I popped in there this afternoon with very neutral expectations. We have no real vape shops in this corridor of the bay area. None that service vaping enthusiasts. I wanted to believe, though!

There was a young guy behind the counter (I think his name is Brian? I'm really bad with names) who greeted me when I came in. Quick scan of their hardware shows that they're really newly opened. They have a lot of Apollo branded stuff, some eGo batts, some clearos and carto tanks. Very small selection of drip tips. But here's how you know they're a different kind of store. They carry community vetted VW mods like the ZMAX and the SVD. They have MVPs and SIDs. They carry some clone mechs like Sigelei clones and the K100/101. They carry Tatroe tanks. They carry Fuzion and Five Pawns. Their stuff is *NOT* obscenely overpriced like the other reviews are saying, but in line with what you would expect from a brick and mortar store. This is not a kiosk turned B&M trying to cash in on a trend. This is a new store built by some regular vapers like you and me.

The guy behind the counter is a vaper. We talked about battery amp limits, filipino mechs, the upcoming ECC, and how this shop's ube actually tastes like the neon purple sugar drenched ube people want, and not like a boiled yam.

IMO this is a shop I'm glad to have nearby, and I really want to see them succeed because we need a vape shop here badly. We need a real one to set roots before the shitty ones start popping up and actually rip people off. It really sucks to see anyone badmouth a legitimate shop like this. Personally I'm going to give them time to get their supplier relations, stock, and industry connections in order, and I'll continue to give them feedback on what people like me want to see in my local shop.

If you're looking for a new vape spot keep looking...

If you're from the East & North Bay you know how hard it is to find a decent vape spot. I really wanted to like this place but in all honesty I can't.

As the other reviews have mentioned everything is marked up to ridiculous prices! Comparing this place to the internet isn't fair so I'll just say I've been to other spots from San Leandro to San Francisco and they aren't nearly as bad. Bad yes, but not as bad as this place. I understand that some folks want their product in hand and don't want to wait for shipping, but if you buy here you're going to pay a steep price. Many of the mods are are marked up 50-100% of what they would sell for on the internet....

The lack of knowledge from the staff is also disappointing. Many times a young fellow behind the counter tried selling me the wrong items and/or gave me misinformation. Luckily I'm not new to this so I just ignored it. If you're new to vaping or are interested I would avoid this place at all costs. Vaping is wonderful and it helped me quit smoking. I would hate for anyone to be deterred from trying it because of this place.

Also, like another reviewer mentioned visit the e-cig forum online. It is a great place to start if you are new. Everyone is helpful and they will tell you what to look for before you start buying.

One last thing...If you like apollo juice buy it direct from apollo in Concord. This store carried one flavor that I love and I'm glad I don't have to walk back in here to get it. 30ml bottle direct from apollo is $18, so why pay these guys $10 for a 10ml especially if you like the juice.

No disrespect John. I think you're a nice guy, but you are gauging your customers. Being one of the first vape shops around this area doesn't mean you should set high such high prices. That's how we can tell you're all about the profit...

I had to do an update because i continue to be happy with this place.

Love the staff here -- customer service always wins big money in my book. They're super chill and i personally like the vibe in this shop. I don't feel like i'm being sold to and i don't feel pressured into buying anything i may not like, plus i'm always being given suggestions as to what i might like based on what i've purchased in the past.

I appreciate that John can take constructive criticism -- i especially appreciate that they've taken note of what makes their customers/clients happy.

I love that they have tons of new flavors coming in now also -- was especially super excited that they had an UBE flavor!! Judge the Filipino in me if you must, but i'm just sayin' .. been lookin for a local spot that had that flavor! lol... That being said, i have never walked out empty handed here, even if it was just a clearomizer i bought .. they also have expanded their device/accessories selection, so i've changed my mind on that and love that they have more choices. I can see this shop growing and evolving and i love that. I can appreciate a small business making big changes .. love it.

xoxo .. ya'll know i'll be back! :)

Thats right.. Get yout VAPE on & your wallets EMPTY! sorry for the harsh introduction but i feel i have to voice my opinion. Ive been vaping since 2007.... So ive been through alot of trial and error. all my supplies have always been from online purchases and ive always told my it would be great if there was a local shop nearby.

Anddddd.. Now we do! Great! So i stopped by this "vapor lounge" as i have a few friends mention it to me... I walk in thinking that i might walk out with a couple of bottles of e-liquid and a couple of driptips as i was looking for one to top off my nimbus... I walk in, wait for my turn and listen in to get a vibe of the staff.... To my surprise, New vapers were not only getting butt raped in price but also misinformation!!!! I know we all have to make a dollar somehow... but damn! $7.99 for a $1.99 drip tip, $49 for a starter kit that goes for $24.99 online? 100% profit here... I was also told that the have Philippine mods coming in, which we know are very very in demand... so the got the $95 Titan Mod coming in... which i know some sites sell for $170 which is already a hike in price (but i payed for this actual mod because the quality is awesome and its hard to acquire in the US) but guess what these bad boys are going for here at the VAPOR LOUNGE, $250!!!!!! Ouch.

Im sorry, i love the idea of having and supporting local vape shops, but man.... these is retail robbery at its finest... I hope the owners and staff can read this somehow... We understand the need to make the profit and really, this would all be great if.... heres the big IF of my comment,..... IF YOUR STAFF WAS PROPERLY TRAINED TO INFORM CUSTOMERS CORRECT INFORMATION!!!! or atleast hire one persone with e-cig/ vape knowledge....

Below are all statements ive heard staff tell new vapers...
1. A clearomizer can get flooded because the air hole wasnt drilled out... WRONG! a clearomizer floods if the seal of the liquid and actual heating element is bad -or- the coil is bad -or- the simply has liquid in the air channel that just has to be blown out... the airhole size has nothing to do with flooding... the staffs first response was, "oh cause u didnt drill out your airhole so other than that i dont know what else to tell you on why it is leaking"... WTH?

2. A customer walks in asking for a starter kit. Was presented a standard ego kit... customer ask how many volts... staff replies "it the standard battery, 7 volts"... 7 volts?! since when did ego batteries come standard in 7 volts? Correct answer is...... 3.7 VOLTS!!!!! i thought i heard wrong so i had to ask, it was confirmed.. a 7 volt ego... smh....

3.Sigelei mods ARE NOT limited quantity as portrayed in the store and by staff...

4. The owner, John... while a cool guy, is not very experienced in the vape world... by his lingo, he seems to be well educated by means of reading forums and watching youtube videos... theres a difference when one is experienced and one talks the youtube and forum lingo... dont be upset john, you are a cool person and so is the rest of your staff, just please know what you are feeding your customers... SOCAL has the real vape shops! owned by tried and true vapers! even sac has a real vape shop! and not one looking to make millions...

PLEASE, if u plan on supporting your local vape shop here in walnut creek, go on youtube or http://e-cigaretteforum.… and somehow educate yourself before stepping in here and spending your hard earned dollar.

Im sorry if i have come out to be rude or too judgemental, but i was disgusted by the misinformation being fed to new comers to the vaping community. I feel this shop was not for the love of vaping but to profit from the booming vaping industry... such a shame.. I sometimes splurge and pay more for something i know i can get cheaper.. i dont mind that at all... especially shopping in boutique type shops which this clearly is... but high prices and BAD information just doesnt go hand in hand.... Sorry again... just trying to help both veteran and new vapers.....

disclaimer: I do not own a vape shop nor plan on opening a vape shop. I am not trying to tear any buisness to shreds... This vapor lounge is just wrong in so many ways..... have a good day....

One of the best customer service I have received. Owner, John, taught me everything I needed to know about vapes since it is my first time owning one. he also worked with what I wanted to spend. Nicotine level was too high on my first bottle, quick exchange for a lower nicotine level (didn't refill since I knew it was too harsh for me) Unfortunately, the battery wasn't working right so came in again within a few days to see what the problem was. Everyone there was very accommodating, left there with a new working battery and been vaping since! Next time I'll be there will be for new flavors! Thanks vapor lounge for the outstanding customer service!

GET YOUR VAPE ON

Attention cigarette smokers! Pay attention to this review and change your life!

While out walking today on my lunch break, I stumbled upon a business I'd never before noticed! That's because their GRAND OPENING is TOMORROW! But they let me inside anyhow and I asked my questions, met some staff and the owner, and even sampled their products.

Electronic cigarettes are growing in popularity. I've seen vape pens in my circle of friends and notice them more and more frequently when I'm out socially. I know a lot of smokers who have given up their cigarette habits for this healthier alternative. A couple for health reasons and sometimes just because it's more pleasant to vape. And it doesn't leave your clothes smelly or affect those around you.

The owner (John) introduced himself to me. He's been a local business owner over twenty years in this same Walnut Creek neighborhood and I actually talked to two other people who knew him as I walked back to work. He was friendly and informative. He invited me to tomorrow's Grand Opening Party: 11 am - 11 pm

I tried two samples: Baja and Tropical. Um, yum! They were both really tasty (I preferred baja). Small, disposable caps over the pens mouth area guards you from the germies, so try a flavor or two! There's a lounge area with TVs; and music, snack, and video games will be going on during the opening party. Stop by! And make the choice to give up cigarettes - or at least have some fun and support a local business.
