Vfw Post 5606

This VFW is tucked back from the road a bit, located between a golf course and Stroud's North.   This writeup is about my visit to it as a bar.

As VFW bars go, this is probably the most friendly one I have been to.  (And most have been friendly.)   The silver-haired crowd was very excited to see some young people in there.  "We need more young people in here to keep this place going," one of them said.

I got a kick out of the men's room when I stepped through the door to find a woman standing in the corner staring back at me.   (Look at the pictures to see what I'm talking about.)

This VFW's bar is open to the public and makes for a nice little dive to hang out at after a round of golf.
