I'm re-posting my review from a while back, this time editing as to not be offensive (my last one got pulled - my fault).  It's important that people know how bad the experience was, so I'm editing out my inappropriate comments...

I was in line behind a fat guy who ordered the last two slices of what looked like a reasonably fresh pepperoni pizza. When the he walked away, I asked for a similar slice, and they said that they were all out, but had sausage still. I let them know that while not a big sausage fan, that it would do.

They scooped up what looked like three day old pizza and tossed it into the oven. You know how sometimes you order out for pizza, don't finish it, and then it sits uninterrupted in the fridge for a week? That's how it looked. Old. Nasty.

I voiced immediate concerns, but the gal behind the counter told me that, 'that's what the oven is for', and commenced ringing up the transaction.

Now, normally, I am not a complainer, so I figured I wouldn't judge the pizza until I had tried it.

It was awful. Dry. Old. Nasty. I would have walked it right back up to the counter, but I had a plane to catch.

It gave me heartburn too, for the record. Never again!

I was violently ill an hour after eating a stromboli purchased here on 11-10-12, from "Alene." Service was slow, order was mixed up.
Food seemed OK, just airport standard.
Then - on the plane - I was as sick as I have ever been. In my aisle seat, bathrooms full.
    Felt fine once this was outta my system. {And felt just fine before I ate, no flu or other issue that day.}
    Dreadful experience. Disgusting.

Their mushroom pizza hit the spot while I was rushing to catch a flight and hadn't eaten all day. It's a little bland and the mushrooms aren't fresh but the crust wasn't terrible. The sauce on the plain cheese pie is actually pretty tangy and decent. I'd go with plain cheese next time. They have thin and thick crust but the thicker crust pies looked kind of congealed and gross. I couldn't find any packets of crushed red pepper to spice up my slices, though I'd assume they must have those. P.S. If any of you saw me drop my pizza on the ground and then pick it up and eat it, it didn't come out of the cardboard box! It was fully protected from the germs on the floor of Concourse C at DIA. Just FYI.

I had a different experience than the other reviewers, clearly.

Knowing I had no food awaiting me on the flight home, and with a couple-hour layover, I stopped in at Villa for some baked ziti, garlic bread, and chicken wings.

Win, win, win.  Not bad for airport fare.

With not many options at the airport, and not enough time for some of the nicer looking (and lengthier waits) food spots, I passed by McDonald's saying (don't do it, Meredith... no "fast food") and went for Villa Pizza. Not sure what exactly I was thinking as I'm sure I consumed just as many (if not more) calories, fat & salt here than I would have at McD's.

Tons of non pizza options including really fresh looking fruit (apples & bananas). Cold pre-made sandwiches, salads, combo meal deals available, baked ziti, spaghetti & meatballs (which I would have gotten if my hunger didn't shout out a pizza order before I could think). They have Tapatio sauce packets, huge plus in my book! I like spicy! However I do NOT like heartburn... which is what I now have from this low grade pizza.

I got two slices of pizza... what? I was hungry! First off, I'll say that overall, the FLAVOR of the pizza (mainly the sauce flavor) is actually quite yummy. I added pepper flakes, Parmesan & garlic powder which I suppose helped. Now for specifics:

    1. Thick Crust Pepperoni & Jalapeno Pizza: a little spongy (not super appealing) and the crust was dry and hard like croutons, which actually tasted pretty nice, but is not what I would imagine fresh pizza texture being. Pretty much could tell it was overcooked AND out for way too long. There was not quite enough cheese. The price is high enough, airport or not. There should have been a little more cheese. Won't order thick crust again.

    2. Thin Crust Mushroom Pizza: Canned mushrooms?! So sad. Still tasted alright, surprisingly. The thin crust is actually great. Perfect crispy bottom, but still soft dough under the toppings. Would order again.

THE BOTTOM LINE: I wish I'd just "indulged" in McDonald's. Their product is much more reliable. And I can guarantee my indigestion and heartburn would be non-existent.

Comparable to Sbarro's with some interesting additional menu items like mozarella sticks, cannolis, etc. Pizza was very thick with rising crust and lots of sauce, toppings, and cheese, probably a little too much so. In contrast to the juvenile delinquent teenagers staffing most fast food places, the cashier here was a clean cut grandfatherly order gentleman like you might expect to see as the usher at a nice theatre or high end sporting event. For airport dining on a budget this place is ok if it is near your gate and you are in the mood for fast italian food but don't expect much different from Sbarro type mall food court food.

I enjoyed this very much for airport food. The crust is crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside and is very tasty. 10 bucks for 2 slices and a water.

How can I not be a fan of this place?  They satiated my hunger with a large slice of warm and crunchy, ham and pineapple pizza.  They assuaged my thirst with their wide selection of bottled or fountain drinks.  Okay.  I know what you're thinking.  Sure, good food and drinks can go a long way, but four stars?  Yes.  Absolutely.  Because they did all that while being merciful on my otherwise beaten wallet.  Dinner for six bucks AT AN AIRPORT? YES!  A MILLION TIMES YES!

With not a ton of quick options this looked the best on my layover in Denver. The line moved quick. My slice of Hawaiian was lukewarm at best. And not a lot of toppings. During the lunch hour they were out of both cheese and pepperoni. Really people? You're a pizza place asking people to wait a good 10 minutes in the airport during a popular time for the most popular pizza toppings. Oh well. Try McDonalds instead. That's what I'll be doing next time Im in the Denver airport.

They keep the line moving, have good selection and decent airport prices, and have 2 checkstands despite the cramped space. The stuffed pizza I got was fairly tasty and light on sauce, which was nice since that helped it be not messy.

TRIVIA: Stuffed pizza (characterized by two crusts, much like a double-crust pie) is a variant of Chicago-style deep dish, itself an American invention.

I got a slice when heading back to Dallas at the end of my Boulder business trip. I got lucky with a slice of cheese pizza right after the full pizza came out of the oven.  The steaming hot slice, along with the obligatory Pepsi, hit the spot perfectly at the end of my trip.  Here's to being lucky!

I learned something valuble from Chef Ramsay on Kitchen Nightmares when reviewing Italian food.  Never use too much garlic! Who wants to go back to work reeking of garlic?
Villa Pizza uses too much garlic in their sauce (I had the stuffed shells) and the attitude of the employees is very poor. No smiles, just sour faces and slow service.
