This was an interesting place...more so because of the walks of life that walked through the doors. The wings were pretty good. The Sunday 30 wings for $15 is a steal. The beers are cheap and they have bocce ball and corn hole on the premises which is great. The inside smelled like a wet dog, but the patio was a nice place to enjoy a Sunday afternoon. The place was not eye-catching, but it is what it is.
Review Source:Interesting....cheap 24 oz beers, a live band and some serious local flavor....it was right for the occasion but definitely not my cup of tea.
The food was bar food....except with small portions for a price that wasnt quite reasonable.
We had fun because our group of friends was a blast, but this wasnt necessarily the place you go unless you know the owner or have a good group of laid back friends. Â Its a local bar.
I dont have anything negative to say about it...more so that it wasnt very impressive. What local bar is though?
i was in the area visiting my mother at raleigh court's skilled nursing facility. Â in heading home, i passed and saw what looked like a large group of people having a really good time and decided it was time to visit "village grill".
i initially envisioned a quick drink, but our visit quickly morphed into an "ole fashioned southern hoot'nannny". Â we drank, we snacked on fried pickles and then we drank some more. Â we polished our visit off with a big ole burger stuffed with all kinds of decadent delights. Â
a good time was had by all. Â and honestly, it relieved some of the stress of having a parent in a care facility. Â thanks village grill - i needed that.
