Vintage 1740

In the revolving door that is the 18th and Boston area, I am absolutely thrilled that Vintage 1740 thrives.  From the comfy vintage furniture to the extensive wine list, Vintage is what I picture when I think of a wine bar.  They also have a good beer selection and a full bar, so bring along your oenophobe friends!  It's a great place to hang out with just your BFF or SO or a large group of friends.

This is my absolute favorite bar in the Tulsa area.

It is both casual and intimate. A great primary destination, or a place to grab drinks after an event.

A great wine selection, but my favorite thing to get there is one of their seasonal cocktails. The menu always changes, so when you go you may see an old favorite, or something totally new. Be daring and branch out. Also, the staff is great with helping you decide on a drink and will always give you their honest opinions about a cocktail.

One of the first things i ever noticed about the bar was that on the TVs they play silent movies. Why don't more places do this! How great for a place that gets pleasantly packed and noisy to have silent movies playing. That was especially awesome. Also, great overhead music.

While the bar gets pretty crowded on the weekends, you can usually always find a place to sit, and everyone (staff and fellow patrons) are always very nice.

I would suggest dressing up to go here. Cocktail attire.  The place is nice, but not overly so.

Yuh. This is is the place.

Walk into this dimly lit bar and take your pick of either sitting in the elegant chairs or couches, bistro tables, or at the bar.

This place is NICE, really nice. But not intimidatingly nice. You can dress up or down and still feel like a zillion bucks. The servers are all so kind and really love the wine and want you to love the glass you order, too.

This is a place I take my out-of-town friends to show off Tulsa!
