Vintage 1891 Kitchen

Meh I've experienced better  ! Although the decor is top and the comfy, I found the staff to be uneducated in making recommendations for wine.  I really think that they only develop a taste for spirits, however if you looking for spirits their giving them away there belly up to the spacious bar.  As for the food I tried the slider twice and I think the Blue Cheese over powers the taste of there special blend of meat however again I was not wowed especially about the quality.  On both occasions there was nasty chewy parts I needed to move out of my mouth before I gagged.  All in all I found the atmosphere to be great, service annoying. FYI the waiters like to exchange more then service with there female customers.

Great setting and fun people-watching, but the food is a bit hit or miss. The wine is great, but very pricey.  

Pay attention closely to the menu since the glasses of wine for $7-8 are actually half glasses.

I love this wine bar, it is my favorite in town! Compared to Crush or another wine bar in Mamaroneck, this one takes the cake. Their wine selection changes all the time, and the quality of the wines are superb. I have not tried the food there, so I can't give a rating on that but I am going there strictly for the wine. The ambiance is perfection since they renovated. If you plan on going on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday, I would call ahead because they do book up for private events.
