We got married at the Fountainhead on August 17th, and it was our dream come true! Â We looked at several venues in the area, and the Fountainhead was by far superior and an unbeatable value!
From the very beginning, Andy was fantastic to work with. Â He accommodated our every request, no matter how minute. Â He met with us several times, answered all of our questions patiently, and returned phone calls promptly. Â Andy is extremely professional and reliable, and made sure every last detail was as promised. Â
Jessica, my bridal attendant, was a savior. Â Anything I needed, from early in the morning until the last guest left, she was one step ahead of me and could practically read my mind. Â
The food is absolutely spectacular at this venue. Â From the cocktail hour to the 4 course meal, everything was expertly prepared and presented beautifully. Â There is a huge selection to choose from, and the staff is very accommodating to any special dietary needs. Â We got a million compliments on how all of our guests loved the food! Â
The venue itself is gorgeous. Â We got married in the chapel upstairs, and the skylight added perfect lighting for all of our pictures. Â The cocktail hour space was big enough for our 200 guests to easily mix and mingle. Â The ballroom is breathtaking with a marble dance floor and many choices of colored uplighting.
Many of our family and friends have told us that ours was the best wedding they had ever been to. Â We have Andy and the rest of the staff at the Fountainhead to thank. Â You all gave us the best night of our lives- we will be forever grateful!
If you are looking for a venue, look no further- for any occasion!
I attended a wedding here on 8/24/13. The space was gorgeous!
The upstairs atrium room where the wedding was held was beautifully appointed and had amazing light and was easily accessed by elevators or stairs. There was not a single technical hitch in the ceremony. There were lots of large, clean bathrooms within a short stroll on each level.
We were well received by a remarkably young, yet extremely professional staff from the moment we parked our cars, walked through the entrance and were lead into the receiving area. Whatever staff was hired for that day needs to be on their "go to every time" list. The shined throughout the cocktail hour and dinner service.
The cocktail hour food stations were excellent and even included a caviar and vodka bar. Now that's my kind of wedding reception! The food was expertly prepared and the portions were huge! The dinner bartender got all of the cocktails perfectly right. They even had a very good red wine choice for dinner. (I was really unimpressed with the white choice though). I know that catering halls can be hit or miss depending on the staff for the day, but we really hit the jackpot with the crew we had on 8/24. There was nothing to complain about. OK - Maybe the ridiculously loud MC who kept barking unnecessarily into the mic. But at least that didn't go on all night.
I'd definitely consider this hall for any sized event. Just try to find out who the team was on the day I was there. :)
I recently had my wedding at the Fountainhead and it was absolutely terrific!
I don't even know where to begin with my compliments... the entire process of planning the wedding was so stress-free for me and I credit so much of that to The Fountainhead.
A lot of people commented about how relaxed I was in the months leading up to the wedding and it's because I knew this venue was on-top of their game and would run everything perfectly (which they did).
I worked with Charles from the beginning and he made everything easy. He was open, never pushy and always smiling!
The Fountainhead was incredibly organized and laid out ideally. The staff is professional and carry themselves with pride. I don't think I've ever seen a wedding where everyone got their food at the same time... can't believe 250 people were handled with such ease.
The food itself, so amazing. My mom and I think they should have a restaurant set up in the room we had the tasting in, because the food was excellent and I don't want to have to wait for someone I know to get married there to be able to eat it again.
Food notes: Cocktail hour was sick! Caviar station = amazing and the craft beer and slider bar was a hit, too. And lots of passed hor'd eurvs, too. We chose the onion tart to start for the meal, which was a light, but flavorful, beautiful dish. I had the tilapia over couscous which I'd love to have again and the sorbet was so refreshing and not too sweet, a perfect summer dessert.
The cocktail hour atrium area is so nice, with arched glass. The main room is really nice and the marble dancefloor is so cool.
We had guests coming from all over the tri-state area and many were pleased with how convenient the location is and how easy it is to get there.
Also, they were very helpful in having any guests who drove, but then decided not to resist the open bar, to leave their cars in the lot overnight.
Every detail was covered and our best interest and the best interest of our guests was always kept in mind.
I had a truly amazing wedding and can't thank the Fountainhead enough!
