I have  been here many times and the wine selection is always good, but I always find myself wishing that the food and the ambiance were just a little bit better.  I usually end up ordering the quesadilla's which are quite good.  They have flat bread pizza which i have tried a few times, but I am not a huge fan.  I just drove past and saw that they painted the outside of the building - looks much more inviting than the dark brown before - so maybe they have done some sprucing up inside as well.  I will be back to check since my boyfriend lives just around the corner.
Review Source:After CRUSH, we decided to try another wine bar: GNARLY VINE.
Not as attractive, but we decided to taste more play on words:
BOOM BOOM for me (Syrah, Washington State)
FLY GIRL for my friend (Reisling, NY)
The assumingly-owner seemed very aloof. We felt unattended too, wrapping up pretty quickly. Not having my full "fix" on dessert, I was disappointed to see nothing on the blackboard menu to address my desire.
I will be honest in saying my wine was not of preference. When the bill came, I did point out that I did not drink most of the glass. He was kind enough to dock it off the bill.
I'm not sure if I will be back. I think I've been spoiled by some other new local haunts.
