I've been to this restaurant three times in the months since it opened - late November 2011. When you enter there's a bar with lots of stools and a couple TVs and to the right is a nice sized dining area. I so wanted this to be a place I could return to again and again... but so far, not so good.
Despite being the only occupied table in the place EACH time we visited, service was verrry sloooow. There was a hostess that seated us quickly each time. We had a different waitress each time. The first time we went, it was for dinner and several items on the menu were sold out. Okay, they recently opened and they hadn't figured out inventory yet. The second time, it was for lunch. We placed two entree orders and one was sold out. The third time, a band was setting up and doing a sound check during our dinner in preparation for a Christmas party there. As we were being seated, the waitress thought she needed to move us to a different table but decided to leave us where we were. We were the only people in the dining area. Not the best way to start off. As we were leaving, several people came in for the party, otherwise we were alone.
The menu is a bit short: salad, pasta, sandwiches. Some dishes had a Caribbean/Jamaican twist. The only thing memorable was a plate of fish and chips, fresh and flavorful. I didn't order anything from the bar.
Maybe with time this place will get it's stuff together, but for now I'll pass.
