Went for dinner with the ladies last night. Â Wasn't impressed.
First, at the bar, the bartender wasn't familiar with their happy hour. Â She "thought" they had some beer specials until 6 pm. Â I told her the website says specials until 7 pm. Â Her confused look was about all the response I got.
At the table, I ordered the buffalo chicken burger with side salad. Â I asked if it was ground chicken and the waitress said it was. Â What she didn't tell me is that it is actually a chopped and formed frozen patty. Â It was dry and overlooked (brown and crunchy around the edges). Â The salad appeared to be a mix of fresh and not so fresh salad.
I didn't ask my friends for their opinions but I could tell that all of the entrees were frozen. Â So, no fresh food at this place! Â Two drinks, dinner, tax, and tip came to about $27.
Home away from home.. Great place to hang and enjoy  good food and drink. Service is great, Food is consistantly good. Great place to watch a ballgame or catch up with friends. Owners go out of their way to make you feel at home.. Parking is easy as there is a lot out back, and you can hang outside on the patio when the weather gets good.
Review Source:Though it's hard to top a Piper's Kilt burger, this certainly comes close.
Beef is juicy, thick and cooked to order.
Topped mine with some onion strings.
Plenty of TVs for catching a game.
I'll absolutely return.
Fast & friendly service.
Parking on the street can be a pain as it's right by the Crestwood Train Station.
