The 'dorf, as many of the members call it, is a great place to have a drink and relax with some friends, especially when the weather is nice.
Great place to watch a game, if you don't mind the cigarette smoke. Â My one gripe is the fact that you always smell like the Waldorf (i.e. cigarettes) when you leave. Â But, it is smoke-free if there are private parties going on and the outdoor area is great, especially in the summer.
You do need a membership to exchange money with the bar, but if you go up as a guest, just have the member of your group get all the drinks. Â Tiki Bar is pretty fun and everything is moderately priced.
The food is pretty good (standard bar fare), especially if Rory is cooking. Â He usually has some sort of special going on. Â Paul does a great job with the catering and the kitchen staff is great.
