This place was good when they first opened, but its been downhill ever since. It's at rock bottom now and won't be back until I hear changes have been made. Asked for no Bleu cheese on my sandwich and it came loaded with it. Fries are always Luke warm. Why is there no bread if I have to wait an hour for a sandwich? It was not busy at all and yet food took way to long to come and then to be lukewarm was a shame. My mom had ordered the Hawaiin wrap and got two different ham meats in her wrap. One was shaved and the other was thick cut. Thick cut ham should never be in a wrap. Overall this place is not very good anymore.
Review Source:This was our first and last time here. I had not heard any good reviews from friends, but my husband wanted to give it a try. I had the calzone, because I thought that was easy enough to get right. I was wrong. It was very yeasty tasting, otherwise flavorless.
My husband had the burger, ordered medium rare. It was well done and very compacted. Menu said fresh cut fries, however, not so fresh. Our server "Sam" was GREAT, which is the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1.
So I have been back to the Warehouse a few times. Â The service is hit or miss. Â A few times I have gone there something was messed up in the order. Â We have had to wait a long time to get our food. Â A few times I have gone there people were out in back smoking when we were out there eating. Â I didn't know you could smoke on a patio. Â The smoke from the kitchen was also overpowering on the patio. Â I do think their prices are pretty high. Â Needless to say I won't be going back anytime soon.
Review Source:OK, I had not been here before but there is a first time for everything. Â The place is remodeled with new ownership, too. Â Overall, the place looks good. Nice dining room, bar and outside patio. Â Staff is friendly and has a sense of spirit. Â Now for the food.....it's bad when the staff does not believe if the menu when asked for suggestions. Inconsistency is a key contributor to the kitchens problems from what I gather. Â I played it safe and ordered the pizza from the wood oven. Â The sauce killed the experience, brutal! How can you screw up the sauce? Â Not spoiled, but, the sauce has a funky taste that is not good.
Review Source:The food is great. The ambiance is great. And the service is getting better with each trip.
As soon as you walk in, your nose is immediately greeted with this rich, smokey (in a good way, not the 2 pack a day habit you're trying to quit way) aroma of a wood stove. The restaurant has just the right amount of lighting, and is inviting.
My first trip in was a little frustrating, due to a novice waiter, and his forgetfulness resulting in our orders not being placed until 35 minutes after he originally took them. He did comp one of my drinks for the mistake though.
Since then, the restaurant has completely redeemed itself. The wait staff is incredibly thoughtful and attentive, and there has yet to be a dish that I have been disappointed in. In my last 2 visits, I have ordered the BBQ Cornish hen, and the fish and chips. Both were incredible. The servings are beyond enough, and I can usually stretch a second and on one occasion, third meal out of the left-overs.
There's also plenty of beer on tap, and a great selection of many that you are probably not familiar with. (I'm just not a miller or bud light fan with a good meal, but they have it if your'e so inclined.)
Overall, this place is excellent. It definitely brings a modern and classy spin on a town that is in desperate need of some originality in food selection.
We have given this place more than a dozen attempts to knock our socks off; now I feel I need to remove my prior reviews and share my frustration.
The food is decent, not fantastic.
Phone orders have been somewhat cumbersome, often wrong. Â Each time we've placed a phone order, we've had to repeat our phone number and/or address a few times before the person taking the order gets it right. Often, that person doesn't even know what's offered on the menu, so it is frustrating to order (eg, Me: 'we'd like the filet.' Â Response: 'uh, is that a steak?'). Â More than once, after answering them that my order was complete, they have so quickly said thanks and hung up that I didn't even have a chance to ask for the total and/or give my credit card info. Â One time, the person taking the order called me back three times, as she remembered bit and pieces of info she didn't obtain from me. Â It is clear that no one receives any training. Â
When the order is delivered, the same lack of training is evident: can't find our house, don't bring pens to sign, don't know what food they have with them and/or whether it belongs to us or the other delivery on their route.
Eating in, was better when the place opened, don't know what happened, not quite as magical the last few times.
Decor is nice.
Not what I expect from a culinary juggernaut. Â I really, really want to like this place. But, lately, I just wish they'd bring back the Chug a Mug.
Overall was a very good experience. We had the Italian Wedding soup and  it was amazing! For dinner we had sandwiches, The Philly cheese steak and the regular chicken wrap were average nothing special. The buffalo chicken wrap however was not good at all, made us feeling a little sick to our stomachs.
Then we had the desert. We had the pineapple rum bread pudding. This was great! So much flavor and the ice cream on top just made it even better.
The atmosphere was a lot better than I expected. From the outside looks can be deceiving. Inside they did a very nice job. Very comfortable and not too crowded.
All in all was a good trip. Next time I think we'll shy away from the sandwiches and try the main courses instead.
The atmosphere was nice, sort of sports bar, upscale restaurant mix. Â You can sit by all the TV's by the bar or go into the more quiet areas to enjoy your meal. Â Our waitress was also very nice and polite. Â That's the only good I can say about this place.
The food was pretty bad. Â The pic I attached shows our calamari appetizer which is about a 1/4 of the amount you get when you go to other restaurants. Â Unfortunately you still have to pay full price for it. Â We also got pretzel twists which was okay.
We were told by the waitress the pizza is one of the things they are known for. Â So we ordered a deep dish with peperoni. Â It took a good 45minutes to an hour to arrive which I guess is normal for deep dish. Â The pizza was definitely one of the worst I've had. Â The sauce was extra sweet for a pizza sauce and the crust was plywood. Â I had to ask for a steak knife to cut through it and still had issues. Â After my second piece my jaw started getting sore. Â If I wasn't so hungry at the time I would have ordered something else.
Next time you're in Bourbonnais pass on this one.
We went back for the second time. Hubby ordered the same, got what he ordered :). I ordered the chicken limone. It was amazing. I wasn't crazy about the mashed potatoes, but that is a personal preference. They serve the ones with peels in them. I'm not a fan of that. They had an interesting flavor, I couldn't pin down, but it made me think of thanksgiving. Worth trying if the peels aren't a deal breaker for you. I'll just have the baked potato from now on.
Our waitress this time? She was awesome. The 2 yo's food was too hot, so she stuck it in the freezer for a minute to cool it down and brought it back. She noticed all the 4 yo wanted to eat was the bread stick that came with the spaghetti, so she brought her an extra one. They were out of kids cups, so she brought small plastic ones, and a large glass of chocolate milk, since we didn't want to give them full cups at one time in case of spills. Other little touches, that just made our meal even more enjoyable. Oh, I almost forgot, hubs plate came a few seconds after ours. The reason for the delay? The kitchen had prepared the wrong shrimp, but she caught the mistake. We wouldn't have known if she hadn't explained the slight delay.
I'm falling in love with this restaurant. Wish I could eat here every day.
