  Tried this place out last week - wow.  When we walked in the place smelled so badly of fresh paint or adhesive we didn't know if we'd make it long enough to have our drinks.  Not sure if it was paint we smelled or the nail place next door.  The menu had SO many misspelled words we wondered if it was part of the gimmick of the place.  We felt bad for only ordering drinks so we got the "Nacos" - (Nachos) - in the description it said we had a choice of white or yellow cheese sauce.  We ordered the nachos and the server started to walk away without asking if we wanted beef/chicken and asking which sauce we wanted.  We had to get his attention again to tell him beef and yellow sauce, to which he replied - "Oh it's not sauce they use shredded cheese" - you all know what happens when you melt shredded cheese, right?  It was a rubbery mess.  They were horrible - we could hardly eat them.  Bad food.  Bad service.  Bad smells.  We won't be returning.

  I was weary of this place from the start after reading a menu full of misspelled words. We were greeted by Chandler the owner and thought that was nice since it was our first visit. But by the end of the visit I wish he would have spent more time in the kitchen because that's where this place is badly lacking. The chicken alfredo my wife ordered was served in a bowl the size of our toddler's cereal bowl. The pizza came out dry and overcooked, lacking in sauce. A piece and a half of the pizza had the crust bubbled up so badly there was nothing on it at all. While we were there, the kitchen screwed up at least two pizzas and had to remake them. We always like to give local places a try, but this joint failed so badly that I won't give them another dime. A new establishment really needs to get it right in its first few weeks, but this one failed miserably.

  The place is pretty small and tables are wedged in. Bill from Bears greets you so that's a plus. The menu is small and does have a lot of misspelled words. The carnivore pizza was our dinner. I liked how the crust wasn't overly thick. The ratio of cheese and sauce to toppings was good. This place won't put other Ankeny favorites out of business but I'd go back to try something else.

  Very disappointed. Went in for lunch with my child and wasn't told they didn't have anything for kids before we had already ordered drinks. Was a very long wait for pizza and there was only 2 other tables at that point. Ordered my taco pizza with no tomatoes due to an allergy and we got our pizza with tomatoes baked under the cheese so ended up taking a bite and finding the tomato. Pizza wasn't great. No open sign. No hours posted and menu had a ton of misspellings. Very unprofessional. Won't be returning
