Why review a fast food location? Well, up to this point in my review history, the thought never entered my mind. However, Â I have now found a legitimate reason to do so. Nothing cures the late night, beer induced munchies quite like the onion infused, White Castle sliders.
The french fries are just bad, nothing positive about them at all, the soda is as flat as a pizza box and with as many bubbles, so i advise to refrain from both.
The 8 cheese burgers I scoffed down with reckless abandon were just the perfect amount of food, perfect size for the long drive back to MI, as opposed to wrestling a quarter pounder with lettuce dropping all over my lap and ketchup on my shirt. Eating in the dark and driving is not  exactly a strong point  of mine yet and driving with my feet still remains a challenge. So the two bite, soft bun sliders are perfect road food, if you can get them out of their cardboard shells
The staff was friendly and quick with their service. In fact, as I was ordering I noticed the workers on burger duty began preparing, as I was ordering so the meal was wrapped and ready to go immediately after payment was completed.
Always terrible service but the convenient location to the expressway and the relative consistency of the Sliders makes this a great alternative to McDonalds. Â We come here often on our way to Michigan.
OK. Â I just have to say it. Â Pay your employees another quarter/hour. Â You get what you pay for.
I love this location as I can gas up and get smokes/road snacks at the Amoco next door and put in my order for sliders for my friends up North all in one fell swoop.
Standard White Castle, clean, efficient, etc. Â Burgers are always good here and the staff is unbelievably friendly. My only quibble is that they can be a tad slow. My recent order of two Crave Cases took nearly 30 minutes to prepare. Really? 30 minutes? Â Argh. Â I forgive them due to their convenient location, friendly service and lack of Cook County sales tax.
Great pit stop on your way up North.
