White Swan Bar-B-Que & Chicken

Absolutely the best  hush puppies on the planet.  I usually prefer a sweet red sauce to the Eastern NC vinegar style, but their BBQ sandwich might make a believer out of me.  I think it's the cole slaw, minced and sweetened to perfection that made it work.  The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because the green beans were woefully bland.

BBQ is decent, but a little on the spicy side.  Side items just ok. The spiciest brusnwick stew(soup) i've ever had, didn't care for it. I looked around the place for a wood pile, didn't see anything but could have missed it. In this area Stephenson's or Wilburs is a better choice.

Convenient to I-95 but thats the only positive feature.  Pork is tasteless unlessed doused with a ton of sauce.  Chicken unfortunately makes Col Sanders look good.  Decent hushpuppies but they are pretty good everywhere.  Lousy baked beans. fried squash not bad.  very cheap but still not worth the price, time or fat intake.
