We stopped here for a quick lunch after shopping at the outlets. Although there is a lot of fast food in the immediate vicinity, we found Uncle Bills here on yelp and decided to give it a try. When you first walk in, the place looks a little older and has an eclectic vibe. Don't let the setting fool you, the sandwiches are delicious! My wife and I each ordered the Granny special lunch combo (fries and a drink). It was an Italian sandwich with the perfect ratio of meat, cheese, and extras (definitely order it "all the way"). The bread was fresh and soft. In the future the only change I would make would be to replace the fries with the 12" version of the sandwich. Fries are fries, but the sandwich is obviously why people are visiting Uncle Bill.
Review Source:I don't even know what to say. This little place was just on our path to the coast so we stopped. I anticipated a dirty little spot with a crappy sandwich and a questionable cup of tea...but options are limited in these parts so I figured I should give it a whirl. They were PACKED. Had live music, the sweetest staff and really it felt like we stepped into a time warp. In the end, the subs were succulent. Just like sub shops were years ago. No subway style dry bread here. This place is tasty, surprising in a dozen ways, and worth your time.
