Shoney's Restaurants

I did it! I visited yet another chain that we do not have in New England. After driving a few hours from FL to MA, we decided to try out Shoney's. We had seen enough car accidents on the way, and just needed something to wake us up and take our minds off the drive home.

I walked in to ask if this was a buffet and was greeted with song and dance by Linda, who then became our server. She was an absolute peach, no other words describe how awesome she was.

So Shoney's is a buffet OR you can order from the menu. I find it pointless to order from the menu since its all on the buffet anyways. Some of it looked like it had been sitting out for a while (probably was) but it all tasted pretty good for what it was. And for $7.49 it was well worth it.

One thing I like is that they try to send you home with a cup of coffee or whatever you were drinking. So cute and such happy people.
