I really don't remember how I stumbled across this still new Wildwood establishment but with the limited amount of restaurants, its one of our favorites to go to.

The theme is golf.  You can even go golfing at their virtual golf area in the restaurant.

The food is delicious and on a busy night they can sell out of things, especially the pork items.  They are known for their homemade chips so be sure to add them as your side order.

We go there yearly with a sports team and they are always accommodating, putting us in a room by ourselves so we won't disturb the other patrons.

The staff is always eager to help and make sure your visit is great.

They do have a patio so be sure to take advantage of that once Missouri weather warms up.

Location is in a strip mall by the college in Wildwood and I expect the area to grow more than it is currently.

Wow that is alot of scotch...and wait I can tee off in back?? Really!?!

I don;t know how a fun spot pops up in th emiddle of Wildwood..and I dont know why people tote their clubs in to lay virtual golf when you have a course 3 miles away on a 70 degree day..but I digress..

Food was delicious and service was super friendly :)  I'd swing by more and make myself a regular but..well it is in Wildwood??'

Mr. G and I came here for dinner on a Sunday night.  The place was very quiet, there weren't many people there.  The restaurant has a large dining area and back and a bar area to the right once you walk in the door.  They had cute Christmas decorations up (which I like) and the rest of the decor is pretty simple, looks like your run of the mill neighborhood restaurant.  We started out with the 'burnt ends' appetizer which was BBQ, and I wasn't sure that I would like it, but it was very good.  The sauce was great, they actually smoke all of their BBQ out front in a large smoker.  I had the soup and salad for dinner which consisted of their broccoli and cheddar soup and side salad.  The waitress did warn me that the soup was made with a few different types of cheeses and was a little spicy, so I wasn't surprised.  It tasted great even with the spicy flavor and it gave the 'usual' broccoli cheese soup a little kick.  I really enjoyed my side salad as well, probably because their balsamic dressing was so good.  Its hard for me to find a good balsamic dressing when I go out to eat, but this one topped my list.  Mr. G had the full rack of rib (this guy can eat) with sides of cottage cheese and beans.  The ribs were huge and the meat was great, not too fatty.  The cottage cheese was surprisingly delicious, I'm sure you all can relate that sometimes restaurants don't serve the freshest and greatest cottage cheese around, but this was very good.  The side of beans was super small, served in a little container that looked like it was a to-go container for salad dressing.  I was actually very surprised with how good everything turned out, we will definitely be back for a casual meal sometime.

Liked two things very much about this place: 1.  Non smoking 2.  The bartender asked my husband and our friend what size beer they wanted...sissy size or 16 oz.  What self respecting man would order the sissy size?  Great marketing and I wish I would have thought of that.  The bartenders were very nice and attentive.  The boys liked the outfits and provided a little entertainment while they watched the game.

I do not know what happened to this place.  My wife and I were recently there for a quick snack and noticed the menu had changed.  It happens, right?  We thought little of it and ordered.  I got the chicken strips (just an appetizer) and an ice tea, she got the steak salad (not considered a meal) and a glass of wine.  The total came to almost $40 before tip!  For that price I expect much more quality and atmosphere than this place offers.

On a side note, the salad was tiny and served in a breakfast sized bowl, so that hardly explains the cost, and my chicken strips showed plenty of signs of having been prepared way too early, reheated and dipped in the sauce.  Often, when trying to cut them they would just break under the knife.  Not much, other than under cooked rice, is worse than dried out chicken breast.

I did not finish my food and did not take any home.  If you knew me, you would know how exceptionally rare this is.  I will not be back.

Wildwood needs more restaurants so I think this one is a good addition. However, I would say it was good...not outstanding, just good.

My husband, my 17 month old, and myself went for a weeknight dinner. There were a lot of families in the dining area which was nice to see. Their kids menu was good and had sone healthy options.

My husband and I split the potato soup which I think was the highlight of the meal. It was very good. We both ordered pizzas. I had the veggie with thin crust which was not exceptional. It needed more sauce. My husband had the cheeseburger pizza which I thought was pretty good. He got the regular crust which we both really thought was excellent. We both thought the sauce needed a touch more "zing".

Our son had a hamburger with green beans which he seemed to enjoy. Our food came out fast and the service was very good. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I think they have a good thing going on and we will probably go again.

Great extensive menu! Something for everyone! Service is First class for this class of establishment. Server Nichole goes above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant experience. We were lucky enough to secure some of their "Fried Spinach" as our vegetable of the day and it is to die for, but is only served during limited times. Fried Spinach you ask? Trust me, you must try. I had the brisket plate and my wife had the combo Q plate. Both were outstanding. Good selection of both draft and bottled bear along with several wines. Cant wait to go back and try several other items on the menu. Owner is on site and made sure to stop by our table and ask how everything was.

I have been here several times and see no reason not to give this place 5 stars. Food and service is excellent. Haven't tried the golf simulator, but it looks pretty awesome. Did I mention they have waffle fries?

Was OK. We had a couple salads, smoked chicken wings, and smoked ribs by the bone. Service was good and food was ok. We'll probably try it again sometime.

One of the few places in west county where you can get a good buffalo burger.... and it doesn't hurt that they have 312 on tap.

I went there tonight with a friend and we had soup and dinner, the food was awesome, we both felt we had excellent meals.

I had the chicken parm and he had a sandwich and fries...

The place is very big, there is a banquet area, then dining, there is the bar and next to the bar is "the Links"  where you can electronically play golf and eat and drink.

the decor is really very nice and the atmosphere is really nice also.

I wanted to get creme Brulee' for dessert but I was stuffed... Maybe next time!

Went here late on Friday night and had a pretty good time.  It took a little while to get our food out, but that's to be expected at the end of the night with a gigantic group (probably 20-30 staff and parents).  The chili was a little too spicy for me, but I have a pretty sensitive spice palate.  The caesar salad was good, though I prefer mine with a little more tang.  Our server was very nice and very attentive.

This is a decent neighborhood pub, but nothing more than that.  If you happen to be in the area, it's probably a good choice.

This place is quite a ways from my house, but I stopped here with friends after playing a softball game nearby.  The restaurant was fairly empty, because it was a Monday night.  Despite being mostly empty, the service was pretty inconsistent but not intolerable.  We waited 5 minutes at least between sitting down and somebody actually coming to our table.  Though our food did come out relatively quickly, the waitress only came by once right at the end to make sure everything was ok.

As for the food itself, it was pretty good.  I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to come here.  The chicken on the chicken sandwich I had was very moist.  The waffle fries were tasty, but almost too crisp.  Everyone in our party enjoyed their food, but nobody was overly enthusiastic about how good it was.

Went here again on Friday, and definitely am giving them another star - I had Delirium on tap! - and talked to the owner, who said they plan on adding lots of other yummy beers to their rotation - I promised him I would be back!

I got two words for you about this place..  Chicken Wings!!   They fucking rock. ok that is five words but hot damn they make some good chicken wings at Brickhouse.  These wings are so good even my kids like them, sans the hot sauce of course but they love the wings.  For a family of four our entire meal consists of 2 orders of wings, one dry the other regular, two house salads and a order of toasted ravs.   The kids split the ravs and dry wings and the wife and I eat the salad and wings.  Perfect meal for a family of four for around 30 bucks.

What's the difference between a franchised bar and grill and a locally owned and operated one?  It's not necessarily that the items on the menu are different i.e. wings, burgers, salads, sandwiches.  It comes down to fresh ingredients and having people in the kitchen that take pride in what they are making.  The latter is Brickhouse.  The atmosphere at Brickhouse is great.  Awesome bar area with tables and stools, plus an offset seating area.  The main dining area has plenty of TVs to watch the game.  A large private dining room that can be split into two is available to be reserved as well.

Now to the food, I can't say I've been disappointed in my dozen or so visits to Brickhouse.  First off, I'm a fan of the waffle fries.  Mulligan's is a personal favorite, not only for their wings and sandwiches, but because they do waffle fries.  Now the Brickhouse has taken over that spot for me.  Burgers, sandwiches, and wraps come with options.  Homemade chips, french fries, waffle fries, coleslaw, onion rings, fresh vegetable of the day, garlic mashed potatoes or plain baked potato (add $2.49 for a loaded baker).  What a selection.  From my sampling, the chips, waffle fries, onion rings and mashed potatoes are all great.  I haven't explored the other options, but I'm sure they are delectable as well.  The options don't stop there.  For an extra $0.99 you can substitute in beef burger with bison, turkey, or Boca.  Great for a healthier choice.  My favorite burger is the Border Burger and the Bada-bing Bistro Sandwich is a winner also.

Soup and salad: The soup changes from day to day, but if they ever have Clam Chowder or Beer Cheese, both are winners.  The Steak Salad is a good option as well.

Finally, the appetizers, the hallmark of bar food.  If you're watching the game, you want to have some food you can munch on, the two best on the menu are the wings and the Ultimate Waffles.  The wings are some of the best I've had in quite some time.  The menu describes the sauce as a "7 spice buffalo sauce."  You can see the herbs and spices in the sauce.  It's not your average butter and hot sauce blend.  Secondly, the Utlimate Waffles have to be one of the greatest calorie laden, artery clogging menu items you can imagine.  That being said, they are delicious.  "Seasoned waffle fries smothered in cheese, bacon, green onions and sour cream."  What could be better?  Other apps to check out: Grande Nachos and Beef Kabobs.

All in all, Brickhouse Pub & Grill is a great new establishment, check it out.
