The World Famous Oasis Restaurant

Ok in all the years I lived and visited St. Augustine I never went thinking it was a tourist trap.  It actually was very good.  Decent selection of typical beach restaurant fare- burgers, seafood.  I had the fried scallops which were very good.  Great specials.  Looked crowded we had no wait by going upstairs.  I'd go again.

My second trip to Oasis and it was about the same as the first. The atmosphere is pleasant and the food is good. I had the fried flounder and it was delicious; the potato was good. No hush puppies!! Can you believe it!? The service was very good, however, and I will probably be back on my next trip.

Horrible experience and service... of all we order the Bloody Mary was the only thing I enjoyed. we started with some oysters what a a mistake that was...oysters were dirty,  un washed and certainly not fresh...  They couldn't even get the chicken fingers right... Never again..
