Ye Shire Tavern

Nothing too exciting about this place. Like the chairs on wheels in the dinning area.

I have one quick request, wish they put together a drink list.

Food was very good. Didn't care for the cottage fries...

I am here for work from Seattle, and had a few hours to kill between meetings.  They have free Wi-Fi, which is a huge plus.  I have noticed that Wi-Fi in Texas restaurants is not common, so it's nice to have a good connection.  
I ate lunch, and the food was very good.  Gotta admit, my expectations were pretty low; this area of Texas offers mostly fast food and large chain restaurants, but this place had a several items on the menu that seemed like they might be made right here in this restaurant... GASP!    Everything was fresh, and service was good.  The only thing that would make this spot a little better, are beers and sodas on tap.  I will come back next time I am in town.

Don't bother.  Best thing was the banana creme pie and martinis.  Sent one medium prime rib back as was incinerated, second was marginally better and like shoe leather.  Service was pleasant. Won't be coming back.
