The place is conveniently located on the beach and offers a good view.
But the food is horrific! We ordered a crab soup and a crab cake dinner. For the price, I expected a decent meal, maybe a smaller portion. I have never had the worst crab cakes in my life. The crab soup was not good either. It didn't have creamy texture, but instead was curdled.
They only serve beer and wine, so I wouldn't go here for a drink either.
While visiting the historic Yorktown area, my parents told me about a Pub they've been to a view times, so my fiancee and I decided to try it out with my parents. The Yorktown Pub is a really small bar, but has a great view right across from the beach and water. Basically, we visited the Pub to have a beer and try some appetizers and soup. My parents told me how good Clam Chowder was, so I had to try that. The clam chowder was excellent and a must have if you visit the Yorktown Pub. My fiancee and I also had the Crab Balls and Homemade Potato Skins. Both were very good, but the crab balls was the best of the two. The waitress we had was very good and the service was good. Overall, if you're walking around Yorktown and need to get off your feet for a bit, the Yorktown Pub is a good place to go for a nice cold beer and some awesome soup.
