Went for lunch at noon and place was empty. That should have been first clue to leave! However stayed and had daily special which was pork chop. The pork chop had no flavor and was very greasy tasting. Â In addition the pork chop tasted like it was old which I keep tasting hours after I ate it. We also purchased side of Empanada and it was overdone to the point of being burnt. Â The atmosphere was very dated and not inviting. Â Ceiling tiles and flooring needs to be updated along with maybe adding some Cuban/Latin decoration to brighten up the place. Â Do not recommend!
Review Source:Authentic Cuban food in a pleasant environment, Cerdo a la Santiaguera (a pork dish) was clearly prepared with care, the pork was well marinated .. the small salad served with it was pretty good, as were the black beans. Â On Friday nights this place is evidently a Latin nightclub with bachata/meringue/reggaeton/salsa/etc , eager to check that out.. Â My waitress was a friendly young Dominican woman, she did a good job. I showed up soon after they opened for lunch and had to wait awhile for my food as it was being freshly prepared, but it was worth it. There is a full bar.
