I have been a fan of this place since I was too young to drink legally. I knew it when it was called "Tuckers". Over time it has had some iterations. Nicer patio. Live music and dance floor. Yet it continues to be a local dive bar.

I was in the neighborhood and went in for old times sake. The woman bar-tending has worked there since I started going so 34 years? Yikes.  The current round of regulars were at the bar. Some things never change. Stiff drinks for a reasonable price.

19 Broadway is an amazing venue to see one of your favorite bands up close and personal!  I've seen some of my favorite 80's bands here: English Beat, The Fixx, Modern English.  The band is so close you can literally reach out and touch them! The drinks are reasonably priced and the staff is always friendly. There is an outdoor deck for those that just want to enjoy the night air with a cocktail in hand or a smoke. They feature so many different styles if music from Rap to Raggae, Rock and Brazillian- there's something for everyone. I highly recommend this club for not only it's amazing musical acts but the friendly staff inside. They really make you feel like you're part of the family!!

Is it perfect? No. Does it smell like a fraternity house? Yes. You're never quite sure what the band and the scene will be, but if both are good, this can be a really fun and energetic place on the weekends. On a slower night, or if the band is so-so, I'd rather pass the time up the street at Peri's.
