My family was looking for a venue to hold a simple reception to follow my father-in-law's memorial service; the 23 Club was recommended to me by friends who'd recently held a fundraiser there. Â Ralph Nunez, the 23 Club's owner, is very gracious and friendly, and was extremely helpful in the planning process and able to work within our budget.
Steve Moran, the new chef, did a great job; the food was delicious and definitely a big hit with our guests. Â We were able to play our own selection of music (over an excellent sound system), and they have a dvd/big screen set-up available.
Everyone on the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable; Johnny and J.C. took very good care of us. Â My husband and I stayed long after everyone else had gone and just hung-out with the staff and a couple of locals. Â We loved everybody!
I look forward to going back and checking-out some of their offerings, like Zydeco music, karaoke, etc. Â Or just hanging-out and having a drink. Â I hope that in its latest incarnation, this place really takes off.
Went here  with my friends and I on 3-24-12 7:05pm for a fundraiser and also see good reasons to perform. Ate spaghetti with meatballs, with bread, cupcake, ,and soda.  It was $12 for the meal, which is reasonable and do enjoy this music band which I seen previously before. My friend purchased some raffle tickets which is for a good cause. In addition, I did received a goody bag containing small bottles of skin cream, soap and mint. My new friends were there also which I met previously from a different bar
