Kind of an unusual place to place a tavern in, yeah? View features your favorite auto body repair shop and right in front features the famous Holy Cross Cemetery. This place looks like that kind of place that you go to after attending a funeral or go to for your break during work (I'm surprised none of my teachers in high school ever snuck a lunch break in here for a drink LOL). Me and my friend got off bart and decided we wanted a drink but didn't want to deal with the 5:00 traffic to downtown or more south in the peninsula. So why not? There's a perfectly standing tavern in the middle of old mission road. We walk in and the place is what you would expect a tavern/pub to look like. Novelties around the place, dark green interior, bar stools, the whole nine. I was expecting a hot girl bartender or Irish guy as the bartender, but it was a nice big chill man who was very friendly. Drinks are quite reasonable. Beer on tap, and a bottle of Stella ll for $8. Not bad! Clean place, clean bathroom, nice ambiance. Other than the fact that the crowd is much older than what I'm used to, they seem to be nice. Now only to fathom what this place is like when it gets dark...
