OK... so CHECK THIS OUT!

i finally get around to calling up ABS-CBN's office in redwood city. APPARENTLY they do not distribute out of starry starry store (<a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fstarrystarry.com&s=7f06d8b5b47b52e9480f0ffd37d6c98b4363e7a49d9d10652f57e8574b0d4cba" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://starrystarry.com</a>) OR their store in redwood city! HMMM... the owner of karaoke discount SAID HE BUYS DIRECTLY FROM ABS-CBN!

unfortunately ABS-CBN could not help me. i guess i just sent $20 into that big pot of karma sitting out in the great unknown.

lesson learned: either buy from 1) <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fstarrystarry.com&s=7f06d8b5b47b52e9480f0ffd37d6c98b4363e7a49d9d10652f57e8574b0d4cba" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://starrystarry.com</a>; 2) shop at the redwood city ABS-CBN store; 3) get some pasalubong from your relatives; or 4) buy some tagalog DVD's on your next trip to the PI.

i bought my magic mic here.  if you're filipino...well if you're asian, and you don't have a magic mic, you're not really asian...at least that's what the people at Karaoke Discount center told me.

a magic mic, for those that don't know, is basically a regular microphone that has a karaoke system built in, and it connects to your tv for hours of enjoyment.  you can buy "chips" or mini cartridges if you want to add more songs to your library.

they also have a huge selection of chinese movies for rental or purchase...and they have a small selection of filipino movies as well.
