this "club" is...weird. it's not a "club" in my opinion. it's just a roped-off bar. oh, and you have to pay a cover charge, which is ridiculous. you can stand outside and watch the bands & hear the music & still drink. in fact, you can also gamble & drink for free instead of paying $6 for a beer inside!
this place tried to be classy with a dress code, but there were people in there with t-shirts and sneakers and mom jeans. the hostess told my friend she could not carry her hoodie through the club. not wear - CARRY. she could not physically have the hoodie in her hands, even though she wasn't wearing it. we're just going to get a table & hang it on a chair anyway. but the bouncer just told us to go in anyway.
the crowd is a strange mix. bachelorettes mingle with a geriatric bus tour. the DJ was ok...but played mostly music i never heard before. i didn't feel the urge to dance, so i sat most of the time. at least the band was decent. bar service is slow, and did i mention beer costs $6?! or you can get the Worlds Smallest Martini for $11.
i guess since it's a "club" in a casino, they try to act & seem classier, but it's not working for me. i'd rather sip from my flask at the penny slots.
I've been here twice and had a blast each time. Â Beautiful inside. Â There is a DJ, Maria Laina, that is a bit too intense with some things that she says, but oh well. Â Just tune her out if she annoys you. Â She doesn't say much. Â Fridays and Saturdays they have a band so there usually is a cover charge. MAKE SURE YOU ASK THEM WHEN THEY ARE DONE! Â Me and my sister went the first time and we paid 20$ to get in and the band literally played two songs before they were done. Â Waste of money! Â Then the second time, it was free. Â So just ask. Â It always seems to be fun here. Â I can't wait to get back.
