A bar with no cook.....if you do order food, most nights the bartender has to go back and cook......and they never seem to have what one wants. Â They were out of Italian dressing one night while I was there.....that should have been my hint not to eat there. Â Food average at best....with poor ratings by health examiners.
You would have more fun staying at home and staring at a wall......do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.......
So the first 2 guys are obviously looking for something besides a SPORTS Cafe. This is a great place to catch the games I had the Bacon Blue Cheese burger and it was flippin amazing. They also have a full bar while staying family friendly. Sat I had the rib eye and eggs they too were very good especially for 10$. Keep in mind that its more of a sports bar than a cafe and youll be happy. Again try a burger or steak for sure.
Review Source:I pass this place on my way to work and was aware the Bella Cafe (which I enjoyed) was no longer there, but I'm always willing to explore new restaurants. My lunch experience was oddly similar to the previous reviewer. I stepped in expecting a lunchtime crowd, but I saw only one table occupied and it proved to be the owner and family. The gentleman rose to his feet to greet me; I asked if the cafe was open, and it was indeed open for business.
I was seated, briefly reviewed the menu and decided, since this was my first visit, to opt for something simple, so I asked for a cheeseburger and a cup of coffee.
I don't want to be too harsh about this. Anyone who embarks on a business venture - especially one as competitive as a restaurant - faces a large investment and considerable risk. Â To buffer that risk, the choice of key personnel (e.g., a cook) is critical. This is the Northwest, and decent coffee is a very basic requirement. If it tastes like toxic waste in a cup, customers will notice immediately. A cheeseburger is another relatively basic request, and mine was a greasy disappointment. If this place survives, it'll be as a sports bar where the television is a higher priority than whatever is on the plate, because the lunchtime crowd will explore elsewhere.
The owners are very pleasant, very courteous people. I appreciate and respect that. I wish them success in this venture, but I see a need for "damage control" here. They desperately need a good cook and a better basic understanding of how to prepare drinkable coffee.
We found this place searching for Bella Cafe. We couldn't find the address, and we went inside to see if they knew where Bella Cafe was. I was promptly told that Bella Cafe used to be in this location. It was around 1:30pm, and I asked if they still served breakfast. He said yes, so instead of wondering around we decided to stay and eat. This turned out to be a big mistake...
The interior was bland, and cheap. I've seen better tables and chairs at Taco Bell. Based on the reviews of Bella Cafe, it seemed the only decor left over from them was the slate tiled floors. I counted around 7 large LCD TV's, with various channels playing. From sports to the travel channel. It was definitely distracting, with sound coming from every TV. Everything was very matter of fact, and lacked any character.
It's a family run business, as the whole family seemed to be there. They began scurrying about when we sat down. We were the only ones in the entire place. The menu was pretty basic breakfast stuff, omelet's, pancakes, etc. We went with the Denver omelet and the stuffed french toast. We ordered coffee, water and a cappuccino. My cappuccino came in a to go cup and was to this day the worst cappuccino, or any coffee type beverage I have ever had!
Our food finally came out, keep in mind we still have not received our waters. I understand though, I mean after all were the only ones in the cafe but with all that TV to watch how can you possibly work??? The Denver omelet looked decent. However I was at a loss of words over my "stuffed" french toast. The menu described the stuffed french toast as stuffed with fresh fruit, cream cheese rolled in bread dipped in seasoned egg and grilled to perfection. I got to pieces of wonder bread turned into french toast, with yogurt in the middle.... Yogurt!! It was the worst breakfast I've ever had to pay for. So at least they were two for two! We finally received our waters, by that time we were ready for the check.
This place fails in any category you could imagine. Horrible service, horrible food, horrible décor!  Not sure how they are even in business. Save yourself your time and money, go to McDonald's!!
