I'm updating my review, as I've become a regular of this place. Â The more I come here the better the service gets. Â I always reserve a table or two and our regular server now is on point. Â Music is always great and no more issues with my water downed drinks. Â I've come to love this place. Â They are ace's in my book. Â See ya there tomorrow night! =)
Review Source:The music was ok on Saturday night ( salsa ) . As soon we drove in front of the place we waited for the valet for 10 minutes with no one around , fine . We parked a block away. Â Then my wife ordered their specialty drink, it was a failed warm watered down martini, Â then music was to loud , I had to scream on my wife's ear .
I did like that it was an older crowd and that's it. Â
We wouldn't go back nor recommend it to any one.
Went to this place for a party. We had a GREAT time. The location was surprising, we did not know about this place. We went for Salsa night and had an open tab due to the party. I can not say if drinks were expensive but the service was good. I guess comparing it to the other reviews I would think my service was good because they knew they would bank on our party of hard liquor drinkers.
Review Source:My cousin had a birthday gathering  here recently so this was my first time ever hearing about Abram Gale. I found this place to be a lounge style venue. There was a mandatory coat check.  The place was filled with seating areas which lends to the loungy feel. The music was diverse as was the crowd. The staff here was very accommodating, responsive and courteous.
This is not the place to drink wine, as it's more of a beer and spirits kind of place. Nevertheless, they have a house wine that tastes along the lines of Charles Shaw (two buck chuck) but they also carry BV coastal wines. Â At the end of the night, I was satisfied with the experience and I will recommend others who are in the area to try this place.
I remember when Studio 69 used to be here, friends and I would throw parties every month. 25 dollar wrist bands and all you can drink for 3 hours. Plus the DJs they had there were great and the drinks were affordable. I go in here as AG's has replaced 69. When I walked in it looked pretty classy, very ambient lighting, lots of plasma tvs, and the bulls game was on. Just me and my buddy were in there and the bar was full of a drunk crowd, so we both decide to sit at a tall table. We were greeted with menus on food, we put off the food for the time as we just ordered drinks. Rum and cokes. We get our rum and cokes promptly but after sipping on them for so long we were pretty much sipping on ice. The waitress that had given us our first drinks kept passing us by to talk to some guy there that she would check with often then go back to the bar and socialize. I finally get her attention by standing up, and someone else walked passed me as well and asked how I was doing (assuming it was the owner), I said everything was fine I had just been waiting for a drink, but I would like the check. He gave me the check and I paid the bill, left a 1 dollar tip for our "world class" service. I will give this place another chance, in hopes that they can rebuild their customer service level up. I love to support local bars and food joints, I just don't enjoy when they don't appreciate their customer base.
Review Source:This is the worst place ever!! will never go there again! Security can  not control the fights! Manager is a jerk! Place is a ripoff! Drinks are way too high! Bottle service sucks! They are quick to charge you a $30.00 gratuity on each regular size bottle (2 btl min by the way) and the waitress does not even serve the drinks!?!!  I have had two parties ruined with this place!! They still made their money off us as they have bad management!! It's just bad business all the way around!! Please Please do not give this place any more business!!
Review Source:1) Location is inconvenient and far from the city.
2) Crowd and sound system are both weak, went on a Thursday night with live music and the place was half full, and we could not enjoy the band that we really liked when they performed @ Havana club around downtown.
3) Drinks are not well made, and they don't pour enough alcohol to martinis and shots. No tap beer either.
4) Customer service is a joke here. We went with a group of 4, had food and many drinks. I ordered a beer and my wife did the same. Our friends started off with dirty martinis, and after a couple sips, decided they're not made well. Â We asked the waitress to take them back. They started drinking beers after that.
End of the night we get a $135 bill(it's not like those 2 martinis were the only thing we ordered).  2 martinis($18) were on the bill  asked the waitress about them. She said she tried and her manager would not take them off. Then this guy comes (some hybrid between a bartender, manager and a douche bag), basically tells us that they were both consumed half way and when i say hey, they were not, ask our waitress here, he sends the waitress off.
Really DB, job well done annoying well paying customers over 2 drinks. (ended up still tipping the waitress $20, as none of this was her fault, and we were fine with her service overall, which was the best thing of all night)
I am not going back here, and their manager's attitude makes we come on yelp and write a review about them, so that you would not go either.
