I've ordered more times than I can count and will continue to order. There are a lot of restaurants in the area (even within a few blocks) that offer the same kind of food. What separates their food is the QUALITY. Non greasy. Lots of vegetarian options. The tortillas are fresh and possibly made in the restaurant. I work in the area so I'm always trying to find a close pickup location.
The service and environment:
They are extremely accommodating to special requests. The staff is helpful and extremely polite. I've met the owner before and he is also great. If I lived in the area, I would probably dine-in and have a few drinks. The restaurant is very clean and is nicely decorated. I've gotten food poisoning from a few Mexican restaurants before so I'm really picky about the appearance of them now.
The food:
The only complaint I have is that the sauteed veggies are kind of watery for my liking and it can make the burrito soggy if you wait too long to eat it. The veggie burrito and veggie quesadilla are still very delicious and satisfying. I simply prefer my veggies somewhat cooked but not mushy. Guacamole is also very good. Pico de Gallo is very spicy but I love it.
I always go here for mexican food. Â At one point, it was every friday.
I usually get the Carne Asada and sometimes delve into the other dishes....and nothing disappoints me! I Â highly recommend this mexican restaurant to anybody traveling into this part of Chicago! Â They also have huge margaritas and GREAT customer service!
