What can I say? Despite the fact that this place is a hotel restaurant and looks like a club, it was delicious! I am a sucker for Asian food and this was just plain 'ole good. It certainly didn't hurt that my girlfriend and I got to sit outside by the lake on a beautiful summer day.
Highlights were Pan Seared Pork Belly bites with char siu glaze (a standard Chinese glaze based on honey, hoisin, brandy, soy reduction). Also the Duck Spring rolls with with Mandarin soy mustard and hoisin sauce, along with the Boneless sous vide Short Ribs with sushi rice porridge and bok choy. Even the veggie fried rice was good; it had the taste that "fresh" fried rice has, where you can tell the chef is in the back combining all the ingredients in the back, leaving the rice sticky, and the veggies crispy (as opposed to soggy).
If I'm ever back at this hotel, I will definitely go back here.
