The service here was slow and horrible. I think one server hogs too many tables and ignores paying attention after taking 1 round of orders. I saw numerous tables lacking on another round of drinks .

The food is blah, don't bother ordering food here.
Unless is happy hour or you're meeting a couple of friends here for a cocktail, this place Is pretty much a dive bar with horrible service.

Fun place to hang and great staff!!!

I have had my birthday at this bar/restaurant for the last two years and they have always been great to me. The manager Kurt D. has always given me a great deal on the party and even extended the same deal to one of my friends who also had a party there after enjoying mine. Chris the chef has always been very nice as well.
The Playwright is a great place to take in all your favorite sporting events!

I never like to write negative comments but I just dont want anyone else to have this experience. I had passed by on saturday night and saw a sign that said Ladies Night/Karaoke Wednesday nights. When we got there the place was empty with one table by the stage with 2 women and 2  young boys and the Karaoke lady with whom I assume was her husband and dad. Soon after a couple of large parties came in. We sat at the Bar and the bartender was less than friendly and very hard to understand with a very strong accent and loud music in the background. She was more interested in texting than taking our order. I looked around and there didnt seem to be anyone actually running the place. I ordered a Potato & Leek Soup which though it had pretty good flavor was watered down. Also Ladies Night means ladies drink Svedka Vodka for $3.00 in a small cup filled with ice and any mixer. Maybe I have been spoiled by other ladies night but isnt the concept that ladies drink free? As for the Karaoke it was managed very poorly the karaoke lady kept on singing which took away from the patrons that actually wanted to sing. And the worst part of all was having children at a bar doing Karaoke. I understand this is also a restaurant but Karaoke, Ladies Night and Drinks just shouldnt be mixed with Children. Dont get me wrong I love Children and have Karaoked with my friends kids at there house but not a bar. I was very disapointed over all as I always try to bring business to Gulfstream Park establishments as I am a local .But unless somethings change I dont see this place having much success.
