Ginger Bay Cafe

This is the go-to reggae place for us geriatrics ;).  I don't mean that as a slight, total compliment. It's grown, mostly sexy (hehe) and the music is outstanding. The drinks are stiff. The food isn't my fave by any means, but if you get tipsy, Mauro's is right next door.

I love the service. The food is decent, The jerk breast small and overcooked but they hapily switched it out I ordered the same to go but I negated to look at it before I left the restaurant- I was very disappointed in 2 small chicken legs and a thigh for 13 bucks very little of anything else- I felt the cook cheated me. I did not get that when I was sitting at the bar and ate I mean I got dry jerk breast but I was there to correct so this time I guess cause I complained I got jerked for real on the meal, I wanted my money back but I was too far to go back. The food is decent best check your order before you leave. For a caribbean restaurant the menu is lacking a lot it is very limited so I would think the little they cook they would get right. They with such a great floor staff have great opportunity to get better. I will check back.

The jerk chicken is THE BEST... just like my dad from the islands makes! And the girls that work there are really nice and pretty too!
