There's a lot I could say about Pier 66, but I'll limit it to the building and the rotating top with observation walks, and on that alone, Five Stars.

If you want the best view, the most spectacular there is of Fort Lauderdale, you'll find it on top of the Hyatt Pier 66; absolutely stunning and a must for anybody who wants a good bird's eye view of the city,  its surrounding waterways and Port Everglades.

The building itself is also one of the most unique anywhere, a true to life architectural masterpiece built by Phillips 66 Petroleum in 1965 allegedly in commemoration of its 66th oil well after which both the company and hotel complex derive their name. Legend has it that Phillips, then involved in wildcat drilling operations hit some 65 basically dry hole wells but its 66th proved itself to be gusher. Hence, in recognition of that nearly unparalleled stroke of success and good fortune, everything about the structure it is based upon the numbers 66's or 6's. The top restaurant floor makes a complete rotation every 66 minutes, the roof is adorned with 66 spikes, the triangular shaped balconies are based upon the number 6 and the windows are on each frontal, 6 in number.

The top and observation, unfortunately, no longer serve lunch or dinners on a regular bases other than a Sunday brunch which, though delicious and nicely done, I would more recommend for the view and the setting as any restaurant only doing a once weekly serving has some drawbacks with service and staff.

The complex, one of the finest and most famous marina centers in the world, offering some 127 boating slips with numerous, too many to mention, amenities also makes for another Five Star operation, but the details of which, since this is a mere Yelp Out review, would be too lengthy to enumerate.

The Best Brunch with a spectacular view that one should put down on thier bucket list of things to do before u die lol!  The Servers were most attentive and I give them 5 stars on their own.  The food was incredible with the little Tappas like and Sushi dishes to die for.  Life is good when you brunch there just be sure there is a Limo to drive you home!

I enjoyed the Sunday brunch here today.  It was reasonably priced, ( ask for the $20 off coupon from the hotel concierge ).   The food was not garish over the top disgusting , like some pig out fests.   If that's what your looking for, Hometown buffet is nearby.
They have great trays to place your small taste plates on.   Things like duck confit on prosciutto with basil oil on toast.  Seared diver scallop with a gazpacho shot.
The lobster Benedict was good...the pastas had a good gnocchi , and lobster Mac and cheese.  The sushi guy here rocks. This isn't your average basic rolls and sushi.
I don't eat meat, but the sliced steak looked good.
The deserts were great.....I left stuffed.  The view is great too.
