Bimini Boatyard Bar & Grill

we shared the caesar salad which was very plain, just a huge bowl of chopped romaine lettuce and too little grated parm cheese.  Nothing else on it.  No bread was offered gratis, but the waiter kindly found some for us that was very good.  We each had a fish dish, way overcooked, as dry as chicken.  No attempt at flavor at all, even the mashed potato side was dry and bland.  My boyfriend's dish had a citrus side that was just the bottled grapefruit and orange wedges.  The pinot grigio wine was good.  Very disappointing food especially after the restaurant had a mention in the NY Times 2 years ago.  We wouldn't go back.

Four people had dinner here last evening. The restaurant was half empty but yet service was sporadic, slow and very unprofessional. Food was mediocre at best and one order was incorrect. More Bimini bread was ordered and never brought. We waited 25 minutes for all our deserts and the slice of cheesecake we ordered was literally paper thin. All in all a very unpleasant experience, and will NEVER return.

Ate here as part of a business meeting with about 10 other guests.  Service was fine.  Food was so-so.  Nothing to write home about, and not a place I would be likely to return.
