I have a two year old who loves to play. Being a rainy day, we decided to go to Funderdome due to the good reviews. Let me tell you that my son had a blast, it is by far the most organize indoor play ground we have been to. Our main concern is our child safety and here we did not see too many kids running around like wild animals. The staff seemed to be in control at all times and they were friendly. They have a spot for toddlers and other areas for the older ones, but I could not keep my child for too long in the toddler zone since he wanted to explore; he was able to play every where else under my supervision, I had a blast too crawling all over the place. The food was not that good, and the kitchen seemed under staff. If you have little ones take them!!

Love taking my 10 month old to Funderdome to work out his energy and let him crawl all over the place.  The infant play area is nice and big and it's completely separate from the area where the older kids play.  There are plenty of toys for the babies to play with, although most of the ones that are supposed to play music don't have working batteries.  That's OK though.  The entire area is padded with gym mats so I don't really have to worry at all about falls or tumbles.
There's a nice diaper changing room right off the infant play area.  It's a little pricey at about $11 per child, but fortunately I have a friend who is a VIP member there and she gets to bring a friend for free twice per month!  They have Mommy and Me classes but I haven't tried them.

1st time ever there last week and WOW was it cool.  We have an 11, 8 & 1yr old.

The 11 & 8 had the run of the entire place....our 11 yr old didnt want to go because "it's a place for little kids"........yeah....sure it is.  Our 8 year old kept teasing her about that ..........."why are you having so much fun....it's only for little kids!!"

They were covered in sweat having a ball.  They have this fantastic high beam obstacle course thing about 14 feet up (no worries.....children are very securely tethered & the ENTIRE floor EVERYWHERE is nicely padded) that my kids went on multiple times

there is a rock climbing wall too......with overly padded floors.  i'm the most paranoid person about this.  it was my 11 year old who fell from the rock climbing wall onto concrete at Marlins Stadium

google "Marlins Rock Wall" if you dont believe me

also....a VERY cool playground w/ a 3 story slide.  it's all very colorful, very clean & from what i saw....very well run

i spoke with several of the staff, asking questions & they were all very informative

there is an area w/ air powered guns (think of the mounted guns on a WW 2 bomber) that allows you to shoot very soft balls at each other......a TON of fun

annnnnnnnnnnnd for our 1 year old......they didnt forget about the little ones.  there is a great area with age appropriate toys & a very padded floor that is sectioned off

we even forgot socks....no worries....they sell nice socks for $2 a pair

we were there for hours....our kids loved it & so did we

we left after a really fun and REALLY LONG game of Simon Says.....kids laughed the whole time & the baby fell right to sleep when we left  ;-)

if you have kids 12 & under who are active & physical....this is a fantastic place

    i also looked at the 14 filtered reviews.....12 were 5 stars, 1 is 4 stars & 1 is 1 star

why does yelp filter out so many?

based on our fantastic experience there......i personally dont believe either one of these 1 star reviewers
